Ah! Can't believe we'll be married 38 years come October! :?: I can't possibly be that old. Well I'm not old in my head anyway. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
My head is young, the rest of me not so much.

they said it felt like just 10 mins "under water"

that just made me laugh

I always heard that its a proven medical fact that single guys live longer than married guys. I also hears its a proven fact that married guys dont mind

Told the missus once I wanted to get a pet and she was like she didnt care. One night we are out and I am scoping out these fine young girls and the missus smacks me. Im like "what?" and she is all mad because I am looking at younger women. I was like "dear, you said I could have a pet, im picking one out now". She wasnt amused lol

I don't smack my husband for looking at young women. If he ever stops, it'll be time to call the undertaker. :D

According to the linked page where she got it? It is a "pro tank like tank"

No, I ordered an ACTUAL Protank 2 (and it is a 2, I checked) with the order, to bump up the shipping (ack, not bump up the shipping, bump up the ORDER TOTAL, to GET free shipping), just because I didn't know what "Protank style" meant. And that one (the fake) is the "weird one" with the dangly bits in the tank and that needed pliers to get the top off. I don't know how to maintain it (cleaning or replacing coils, wicks, etc. even if I knew what to get as replacements), so I probably won't even use that clone tank unless all my other ones spontaneously explode at the same time or something.

Well, after 4+ hours on the charger, the X6's charging light started having convulsions. First it was just a tiny green flash, about a nanosecond long, every few seconds, then it was longer green flashes, then over the course of half an hour the green light was predominant and it was periodically flashing red. I didn't know how much longer that was likely to go on, so I called it good and took it off the charger. I put the Protank 2 (the real one) on there, and have already blinged it with a dangly. :D It's just a broken earring from eons ago that was in the bottom of a jewelry box, but it's cute. I have lots of other single earrings, plus a bunch of stuff in our jewelry making supplies that WHEN I HAVE TIME, I can play around with and make something better. :)

Oh, and I tried the three different voltage settings on this, and I seem to get the best flavor and vapor at 4.2 volts, which is as high as this thing goes. I hope that's OK to run it at most of the time. The middle setting (I think it's 3.9) was so-so, but it would work, if I should keep it lower than "high." The 4.2 makes me taste the strawberry SEEDS in my e-juice, though! It's WONDERFUL!

The X6 is definitely heavier than the EVODs, but it's very comfortable to hold, and I don't feel like I'm going to drop it all the time, so it's all good. I asked Rich to modify my binkie holders with a wider hole drilled right on top of the skinny hole, but not all the way down, so now I can use the holder for either diameter battery and not have to have separate ones, or even separate holes. Pretty soon I'm gonna have to get busy and decorate those binkie holders... ;)

I heard it stated slightly different: Married guys don't really live longer than single guys; it just feels that way.

I hope I am not coming off sounding sexist or like an old letch here, but most men believe that if you are gonna show it, we have a right to look at it, and we ain't talking about your hairdo. That does not mean we don't love our wives/girlfriends/whatevers, but it is a basic instinct of the "hunter" to always check out the game in the vicinity, even if we don't have a tag and plan to bag it. Some of us will dance with 40 women in one night with no plans to take any of them home.

Yeah, we're 17 years on our 3rd spouses... How old is THAT? LOL! Let's see, for me, it was just under 5 years on the first mistake (I've always been stubborn and bullheaded and didn't want to give up right away), then 15 years on the second one, and now 17 years with Rich. That's a lot of years... o_O

I know. i think men's enduring desire to look at the menu even though they have NEGATIVE plans to order is quite charming -- that's why I said it would be time to call the undertaker if he stops looking... or maybe the opthalmologist... because he'll either be dead or blind. Heck he still looks at ME and i can't figure out why to save my life, he's sure seen it all before and it definitely hasn't improved in 28 yrs of marriage. :D But I guess it goes both ways; I still love his furry chest, even though he's more polar bear than grizzly bear anymore.

10-4 sugar bear... :) This is where I got the moniker "Fuzzy"; not just because of the beard, but the whole body is furry (back when Grizzly Adams was on TV, my work mates called me Grizzly Amber, then an old girlfriend changed Grizzly to Fuzzy - more endearing or some BS like that). But, like your husband, the Grizzly has changed to Polar - not just the beard, even the chest hair is going white now. Sigh...

Glad you like it...lol...the PT2's are my tank of choice. Easy maintenance, no leaks, coils fit nicely. W

"The Protank style tanks are NOT Kanger ProTanks and we do not guarantee that Kanger Protank Replacement Heads will fit into this tank."

This made me laugh so hard when I read it (after I got it, of course, and saw the tank). This statement insinuates that Kanger Protank replacement heads MIGHT fit, but if they don't, don't go blamin' them! HA! I can't even IDENTIFY the "coil" part in that clone! I know it must be in there somewhere, but it's not in the same universe as the coil heads I'm familiar with. "We do not guarantee..." indeed.

IF, just IF I decided I wanted to use that clone tank for some strange reason (I dunno, maybe I'll get drunk and stupid some day), how would I find out how the heck it WORKS? I don't know what it would be called, so I can't even look up instructions. Is there a tank with the proper name of "Protank cheap copy that's plastic instead of glass and has danglies in it?" ROFL!

I honestly did a serious search for Protank 2 clone, and came up with nothing that looked like this one. Just the Protank 2. There was ONE that said it was a Protank 2 clone but it actually looked like it was constructed the same way as the genuine Protank 2. This thing that I got is built all different. I have no clue what it is.

And it works good, too! ;) Now I know why you guys kept telling me I need to "upgrade." Argh... my little baby EVODs are sitting there all neglected now... Well, except for when this thing is on the charger! If it takes 4 hours every time, I'll still be using the EVODs for quite some time, even if it's only 4 or 5 hours a day.

Here are pictures of my new Bling Binkie! :D I blurred this one, sorry. Anyway, here it is sitting in my modified binkie holder:

Close up, sorta:

Without the flash, so you can see I used a PURPLE tiny rubber band to hook the dangly bit off the old earring to.

*I* think it looks really nice. :) For a quickie 5-minute decorating job, anyway.

The danglies tell me it's some kind of weird, fancy CE4 type thing, since it sounds like it's top coil - maybe you got one of the old ones before they switched. Protank heads are at the bottom, right?

Well, my Protank head is at the bottom, as are all the other ones I have. I thought CE4 was the skinny plastic tank. It's just the top-coil "style?"
I was thinking CE4 innards in a fancier tank. It's a Protank wannabe!
Or a Vivi Nova type thing. Totally forgot all about those.
