Here's mine:I was playing around with Linux back when Mandrake and Red Hate was the Linux thing. Then World of Warcraft came out and I went back to Window. Around 4 years ago one of the guys on my crew was telling me about Ubuntu Linux and I gave it a try. Since then I became a full time Linux user. Its a lot easier than it use to be. Any time I have to go to terminal there is always something that spells out exactly what needs to be typed and I usually just use copy and paste in terminal.
The last time I had to use terminal was a few months ago when someone came up with a work around for Iphones. With Windows you have to upload your phone to the "cloud" in order to access you phone pictures. Not with Linux. I hook up the charge cable, click an icon and select download. Then download the pictures i want. I can delete the photo's from my phone too. No Cloud needed!
This is what my desk top looks like with the menu opened. No clutter, no mess.

Hey guys - just in case you are wondering what he heck I'm doing posting at this hour when I should still be asleep, I've been having a hard time sleeping for the past three nights. First two nights I was still awake at 4am even though I was in bed by 11:30 and tonight I was asleep at 12:30 and fully awake by 2:30 am ! I blamed the first two nights on inactivity but yesterday I was busy all day and even went swimming. I should have slept like a log! It's driving me crazy!
Without windows I wouldn't be where I am today in that respect..

HaHa, I've been known to dabble in the Modwomper territory occasionallySure does, but if you ever turn it above 15 watts you are required to say hi on the Mod Womping section.....![]()

Nothing worse is there when you just can't sleep or wake up early and can't get back off. Have you got something on your mind or something is bothering you, change in diet, to much caffeine. Lets hope it passes, if not you may have to see a doctor or have a night out with KD, you may not be able to walk in a straight line afterwards but you will sleep all nightHey guys - just in case you are wondering what he heck I'm doing posting at this hour when I should still be asleep, I've been having a hard time sleeping for the past three nights.
