Hey guys - just in case you are wondering what he heck I'm doing posting at this hour when I should still be asleep, I've been having a hard time sleeping for the past three nights. First two nights I was still awake at 4am even though I was in bed by 11:30 and tonight I was asleep at 12:30 and fully awake by 2:30 am ! I blamed the first two nights on inactivity but yesterday I was busy all day and even went swimming. I should have slept like a log! It's driving me crazy!

I go through bouts of the same thing. In my case it's older gal symptom. I am quite often here at 4.30am have a cuppa and a quick chat then back to bed to catch up. No point me lying there wide awake. Other cause can be low blood sugar

After enjoying my Nautilus again, the flavor is great and I may have seen the light, I have been vaping my TFV4 at 90w but I don't think you need high wattage to get flavor, you must have all been tootling and sniggering away, well, better late then never. So about 5 mins ago I ordered a Kayfun lite, I don't really know much about building and have no idea what gauge wire to use, do you do vertical builds ect..I'm guessing cotton wicking is still the way to go. Just a little advice and a push in the right direction would be helpful.. Thank you.
Scrap this, I cancelled my order to look at something else .....its your fault, you know who you are haha

Nothing worrying me that I can think of and I only have one cup of coffee when I wake up and that's it. So really I can't figure it out.

As for the Kayfun Lite @Rixsta - be prepared for a tightish draw. Building should not be difficult since it is a single coil atty. I've just built mine with 26 gauge kanthal but you are probably better off going with 28 guage because the screws are rather small and you may have trouble getting the 26 round them. Shoot for 1.4ohms which is excellent on a KF.

Ooops you posted while I was typing. Oh well, never mind. So what are you going for?

Sorry about that, I'm just rubbish at building, really I am, I had enough disasters with the RBA on the Subtank..

Anyway, some wonderful person bought the Kabuki Tank to my attention, I instantly knew that was the one and ordered it straight away, I bought the 510 connection one to use on my new etched Coolfire 4. From what I have read, it will suit me perfect and the flavor is meant to be very good. It's about time all this 60ml a day juice draining high wattage was cut down. All I want is ease of use, some moderate vaper and good all round flavor, I think this might just do it.

I ordered the TFV4. Suppose to be here by next Wednesday but I wouldnt be surprised if it showed up tomorrow. An RTA that can do 100+ watts.........HELL YEAH!
And this is the other side of the fence, there is no denying this is an amazing tank but I just can't keep vaping like this, day in, day out, it's kind of ridiculous. This tank will be kept for when I'm having a beer or just feel like some clouds, great to vape in the hot tub ! but all day, no, I've had enough of that.

Ha! Ha! - gotcha this time :D
I've heard good things about the Kabuki - so enjoy. For me, I've sworn off coil heads - too many running expenses and keep in mind I have to throw in hefty shipping expenses in addition to the cost of the heads.

Wow, a $100 Nautilus... Congrats though.

The best thing I ever did was to get away from Aspire/Kanger coil based products and into the Kayfun/Rose/Orchid world. More maintenance required and it's sometimes not a grab and go device. I just got tired of bad/short life coils, quite often right out of the box.

I never cared for Apples strict proprietary, But Jobs was an ARTIST as an Individual!! I cannot deny that!! A VERY interesting person.. Don't just base him off the new movies...
Never watched any movies about him or read any books or anything like that about Jobs. Just the opinion I picked up over the years. Bht yes he was good at what he did, no denying that. But an artist like the artist once again known as Prince?

Yes it's a very posh Nautilus but the flavor is somehow meant to be a lot better, even though they use the same coils. Not cheap I admit but then it's all made in the USA, looks quality.

Did I read that right? A $100 Nautilus??

Scoff if you like, but until you've tried one you have no idea....

First off, it's not $100.00, it's $89.00 :pervy:.

But for Me, it's about convenience. I've been vaping for more than a year and a half. I started out with the usual eGo/PT setups and went right into Kayfuns on mechanicals. When my local B&M recommended the Kabuki (the only B&M in my area that carries HOH stuff) I said "what, are you crazy? I don't buy coils, I rebuild". Then I tried one and was blown away by the flavor. I now own 3 and haven't touched any of my Kayfuns since the beginning of June.

I work out of town A LOT and now I don't need a suite case just for my vaping needs. I carry a bottle of juice, a wall cube single cell charger, and an extra coil in case I need one.

I agree about the artist known as Prince, but the guy is no slouch when he straps on an axe!

He takes lead torwards the end of the song. Impressive to say the least.

I'm moving backwards in time....

So, I saw someone in another thread post a link to a Rip T video about the Magma RDA. I always wanted to try one but they were always out of my "acceptable" price range (weren't they over $100.00 bucks when they came out?) So, I followed the link in the video and found they were now less than $60.00 bucks so I ordered one. It arrived this week while I was working out of town, nice surprise upon arriving home :D.

Now, I do drip once in a while but it's such a pain. I never feel good about picking up a device that's sat for a week or two (or 4) with juice in it, dripping on more juice, and pulling the trigger. It just doesn't seem sanitary and I'll be darned if I'm going to re-wick with cotton every time I feel like using it.

Anyway, I pawed through my junk box and found some of those pre-made 2mm silica wicks that you get with cheap devices and thought, "what the heck". I installed one in my Magma in single coil mode and it came in at a flat 1.8 ohms. OMG!!! This thing rocks!

I'm finally able to use some of the high VG 12mg juices that I bought that never worked well in a tank! The flavor is great! and I can rinse and reuse as need be. Who knew that after all this time rebuilding with cotton that I'd find peace vaping a silica wick lol. It's a Tootlers dream at 8 watts :D

I seen purple rain and been hearing for years how he is suppose to be a musical genius but was never really impressed with him until I seen this video and there is no doubt, he ranks up there with the best on the guitar. He really never even looked at the frets but knew exactly what he was doing.

I have a magma clone I picked up for $10 or $12 a while back and when I was Ego puffing and using protanks it was great. I ran a dual coil set up around .2 ohms and it really produced great flavor. Then my vape style changed and I find the magma too restrictive airflow wise for my vaping preference. Even with the air control ring off the RDA its too tight of a draw for me.
