Actually, i know of very few insurance companies who will write you a house insurance policy unless you can show you have a small class A fire extinguisher. At least, I have never encountered any. I imagine some agents are sloppy when they do the inspection though

Ok... but you still wouldn't know if the charger was getting too warm, with it inside a box; you have to touch it to know that.

Great to contain any battery-venting behavior, but I'd really prefer to prevent that behavior in the first place, by being aware of too much heat.

It has a lid you can open to touch it while charging.

Sorry.
I forget that people change the res. In their attys. I'm way to conservative with things sometimes. I shutter at the thought of change.

You'd make a good pal for my hubby! He is terrified of change and has actually been improving because now he is admitting it! He'll tell you - See that chalk circle on the ground - I don't step out of it. :D Probably one very big reason why he won't even try vaping, let alone doing it - he's been a smoker for far too long.

We had a tenant next to us that decided it would be a good idea to cook french fries in a pot of oil on the stove. This was a spaghetti pot no less, the kind with the little holes in the lid for draining. She ate the fries and went to the bathroom, came out to an apartment full of black smoke and the kitchen all ablaze.

So stupid people are really the main cause of house fires...

I came home, the parking lot was full of fire trucks, the building was evacuated and just a major PiTA. When I lived in another part of the province i did run an 1100 GPM pump for a bit.

Your all right, that was a bit of a weird experience, PG doesn't taste very nice at all but VG tasted quite good and is def sweeter, I won't be doing that again anytime soon though.

The things I do for you hey ;)

What ratio do most of you vape please ? I'm just wondering if tootlers use a higher PG or is that a myth..pretty new to the tootling world

Max VG for past month or so, before that was 80/20 VG/PG

Does running 1.0-1.2ohm in a rda on a high wattage device count as TP? Or is there another hip term to use instead?

If for you vaping is a relaxing and almost mindless activity as against a taxing show of bravado - then yes, you are a tootle puffer. :) Welcome to the fold.

Where can you buy Class D fire extinguishers, and are they really expensive?

Indeed, perhaps they should be deemed a tobacco product and banned. :)
This one was.

She was on social assistance and wanted to know which hotel the property management was going to put her up in while her apartment was repaired/refurbished...

This is exactly why I don't feel comfortable using my ARO Winder any longer; it's by smoktech, who make pretty decent stuff, but it uses an eGo charger rather than micro-USB.... The vast majority of e-cig accidents I've heard about have been attributable to those 80-cent chargers. They're just cheap junk, apparently every last one of them, so a quality e-cig becomes just as dangerous as those ego knockoffs... because of that cheap charger.

Andria
If you only pay 80 cents for the charger, then you're right. It is a piece of junk. I bought a cheap one like that and threw it away after using it only one time.

Even in little eGo chargers, quality matters.

But I have no idea where to get one that's *actually better* -- even if it costs more, that doesn't mean it's necessarily better.

I vape with a pure VG base. When I mix my flavors, I use a like amount of PG as a flavor dispersant, and 1/4 as much water as flavor. Otherwise it's too thick.
VG is often used as a sweetener in foods. It also makes things shiny! Some sweet flavorings have sucralose (yet another sugar alcohol) as a more concentrated sweetener. I see that some of them actually sell bottles of sucralose.

@TrollDragon - I have re-coiled my Rose. Yes, 26 gauge definitely works better and it is much easier to work with in the Rose. Used the split wick again and it's doing fine. I have 1.1ohms and am running it at 16 watts. I know I could go higher but generally I try to never go beyond 4.2 volts so with a 1.1ohm coil I'm getting 16 watts. It's good enough for me.
I am glad you found a good build for the Rose, for me the ramp up time and the coolness of 26g @ 16W would not work.

For your build I would go with a 28g 8/7 wrap on 2.5mm for 1.4ohms. At 16W it would give me a heat flux of around 200 (medium warm) which is how hot I try and keep all my builds. The Rose will cut 28g if you tighten the grub screws too hard so I build mostly all my builds with 26g. Space permitting, you really shouldn't put a 26g build on a Kayfun mini 2.1... :D

Did you find out what was causing your resistance issue?
