It is nice and easy to work with, doesn't work very well with my camera though. It's supposed to be chamelon purple/blue. I see purple when I'm taking the pic but once the flash hits it all it shows is blue.

That's really nice! I like that you put the dna where the charger and lights were, although I might have pointed it outward instead of down so it would sit on a table.

I was really wondering about that color, I thought the blue was a trick of the camera - sweet! Where did you get it?

Can you show us the internals? Looks great!

I put some epoxy on the bottom cover where the chip is, might be able to get it off without busting it but I'm doing another one for my brother, just waiting for the screen frame to arrive. I'll post some internal pics of it as soon as I get it wired up.

Here's one I forgot I had taken. Wires need to be cut and connected but it shows everything in place.

Thank you mamu for the diagram and help. I ordered everything and when it gets in I will try my hand at this with a vamo board. I found a 12mm flat switch on ebay item#281338130016. Not very good with computers but I hope that will help someone.

Johnny Dill I noticed your switch on your mod and wandered how you wired it. Do you have a drawing of how you wired it?

Here is the thread that will answer your question: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/555131-wiring-led-button-switch-vw-mod.html

-Username Vapant gets all the credit here. I did what is shown on his wiring schematic and it works excellent. :)

I just finished wiring up my first dna and something is wrong. Im going to leave it be for now, but in the meantime I was hoping someone here has run into this problem. When I put my battery in it turns straight on into power locked mode. Holding up and down even on the board didn't do anything. I can still fire it at the preset 15 watts. I can even 5 click lock and unlock it. I tried searching and nothing came up. Also this thing has been a huge pain in my rear.

Sounds like you are using a N/C fire button rather than the required N/O button. It is always firing except when you hold the button down, which opens the switch. Lock still works because it just looks for multiple on/off cycles. Firing is messed up with the nomally closed button. Just check it with a meter and replace or rewire the switch.

Double check the solder connections on you up down switches the DNA board is real finicky with the solder connections if there not absolutely perfect you will have problems

This box works well as a battery pack. It retains the USB power output from it's original power bank function, albeit with just two cells instead of three. I tried mine and it charged an iPod nicely. As far as an sx350 fitting, check how wide that chip is. If it is no wider than an 18650 battery, I guarantee you could make it work. With no up/down buttons needed, this makes it easier. I made the Vamo chip work, which is similar in construction and size. I would love to see someone make an SX350 Arlo box. I dare ya! ;)

The SX350 chip/board is 19.80mm wide, 45.50mm long and 12mm thick.
So it has about 1.6mm more width than a 18650 battery. Very little difference for sure.
