hey imagine, trichman, i have three x2 battery passthroughs and recently 2 of the usb cables have become somewhat "frayed" where the cable meets the usb connector. (i can probably post pictures if necessary)

my question is should i contact customer support, or would i need to order more batteries so i can use those new cables to have a safe way to recharge my current batteries?

Hi :) welcome! No unfortunately we do not accept paypal...or rather paypal does not accept us. It is against Paypal's terms of service to allow ecig related transactions. They will seize and shut down your paypal account for doing so. Until their policy changes unfortunately we cannot offer them.

Hello!
Wanted to ask you if you accept paypal.
I am super excited. :)

Do you suppose we may ever see carto cases to hold the XL blanks and/or CE3's? Looks like I'm going back to the blanks, and I prefer the XL's.
Kia, I think someone posted a mod to these cases: trim off the fins that separate the cartos with an XActo knife and put the XLs/CE3s in sideways (I think you can fit 4 that way).:)

From what I understand, you can contact customer support for new cables for free, or, unless your batts are still under warranty (non-SI cables will void your warranty), you can go to a nearby computer store and buy a better-quality mini USB cable (make sure you don't get "micro" - looks the same, but won't fit).

I believe you can ask for a replacement when you place an order. Just put the request in the comments box. You might want to back that up with a note to CS containing your order number.

I had some empty cases from cartos I received from another online eJuice vendor that didn't have the slots in between. They hold four XL cartos or CE3's sideways, perfectly. I love them.

i contacted someone from CS on there, and i asked them what i should do, (get new batts for the cables or what) and they told me to get a mini usb cable, luckily i have a ps3 and the controller cables are mini usb cables, so they will last me a few days till i get a paycheck and get proper cables

Just wanted to point out that what you already have is the "proper cable," unless you don't want your gadgets to share - then you'd have to get some more. You can also borrow cables from digital cameras, mp3 players, and a bunch of other stuff. Mini USBs are standard and pretty common for small gadgets (but not so much for cell phones - those usually use micro USBs).

So I guess the SI-cable-only rule for the warranty doesn't apply anymore, Imagine? And no more free cables?

very interesting... i don't use a whole lot of electronic devices, i'm kinda a stone age electronic type of guy, my cell is a old flip phone from about 7 years ago, lol

but it is good to know i can rely on my ps3 cable though, even if its a last resort

I can charge all three of my PV's at once. And that doesn't even count my passthrough. My Mini USB for my tablet works on the X2. I was afraid to try, but it does work. I have another charger for the tablet that is not USB, anyway. I have two 2.1 amp USB chargers, and a two-port 1.2. With my hub, I could recharge the world.

Yea, it's pretty nice to be able to use other cables to charge your X2 as long as they are compatible. I found a longer one around the house to charge mine with.

Question. I just ordered a mini T3 and cannot remember if you can put your battery in the horizontal position or not without getting juice on your lips with a clearomizer?

Lately, I've been getting juice on my lips from my cartomizers. I even waited a few hours after filling to vape it! Red hot cinnamon doesn't feel so good on the lips! ;)

Sitting down, facing forward.
Tina, I routinely lay my batteries down horizontally with T3's on them with no problems. I also do that with the few clearos I have left with no problem either. It's when clearos go inverted that they can seep. I've never had that happen with a T3 which may be because it's a bottom coil device and the seals are at the bottom unlike a clearo.

One of my Volt standard 78mm batteries is taking longer and longer to charge each time I charge it. The last time it took about 3 1/2 hours to charge. Today it has been on the charger for 4 1/2 hours and the LED light is still on. I'm using the USB/Wall charger configuration.

Does this mean that my battery is about shot?
