have you tried cleaning the threads on the battery and the charger? It may just not be making a good connection due to residue.
One of my Volt standard 78mm batteries is taking longer and longer to charge each time I charge it. The last time it took about 3 1/2 hours to charge. Today it has been on the charger for 4 1/2 hours and the LED light is still on. I'm using the USB/Wall charger configuration.

Does this mean that my battery is about shot?

Yes, I do clean both connections each time I charge my batteries. I watched the video on the SI website and I have been cleaning the connections faithfully as described in the video.

I took the battery off of the charger after 5 hours just to be on the safe side. The LED light was still on. I have not tried to use the battery yet tonight but it has been performing flawlessly. It works like a charm and still lasts as long between charges as it did when it was new. It's only the charging that seems to be acting strange.

Curious... I'm about to step up to a mod, but love my T3s (which I bought from your site, and have the 808/ego heads). Just wondering if any random 510/ego T3 replacement head will fit in the SI 808/ego body... Just lookin to save some cash. I don't mean any disrespect, so if this is a taboo question, no hard feelings if you would rather not respond...

Did you try rubbing the posts of both the battery and charger off with an alcohol-dampened Q-Tip as well? Jan didn't show this on the video, but there was a quick note on it that popped up halfway through. Sometimes a film of e-liquid gets left behind, even if you wipe it off every time, and it's just enough to lessen the connection. Dunno...this has always worked for me whenever I have trouble charging. ;)

cleaning with a pin of sorts..i find a safety pin with tissue..a tiny drop of vinger...and go deep as possiable around the post...a lot of black like green scum can build up over time...I learnt this when starting out with my 65s n 78s....I was scared to go to deep....but find if I get the tissue to show white...after a few goes...really makes the difference to vape performance...and charging...:2c:

I have not tried any alcohol or other liquids but I'll give that a shot the next time. Thanks!

I use a cleaning method similar to this but not before each charge. I think I have cleaned my batteries this way twice since I got them about 10 days ago. Ironically, my wife uses Volts as well and I am always on her case about keeping the connections clean. She just simply won't do it. She hasn't cleaned any of her batteries yet and she has no problems with charging or performance. Go figure.

Hey, just got my new spinner and was wondering.....is the battery adjustable between the markings or only directly on the markings? (like say halfway between 3.8 and 4.3) Also for future reference if it's only adjustable directly to the voltages marked, why not notch the spinner dial so that it won't easily slip from one setting to another during handling of the battery? Lemme know!

The dial on a Spinner allows adjustment over the full range of the dial. The markings are for reference, I suppose, rather than being the only levels available.

I agree that notches would be a good idea to prevent accidental changes in the operating voltage.

Cool, thanks for the info awesome, I wasn't sure, wanted to get the whole meatball on my plate before digging in!
