I don't know what SI's business plans are, but I would pass on the VV. That would be an entire separate line from their current products. Maybe a fillerless carto?

Sounds like a tank arrangement may well be in the works. We're all keeping our fingers crossed. Which makes it realllly tricky to type ....

I have a question about the Volt X2. Last week I received my two new Volt X2's and they have been working fine, but there is one issue that I can't seem to figure out. When I first got them, both would light up blue where the USB plug is while they were charging. Now one does and one doesn't. Performance seems fine but will this lead to a bigger problem?

Is it an auto or manual? I've had two autos and after a while I can hear the batteries moving inside the unit if I flick it around like a pencil.

Hey, is there a clip for the 78mm Volts - like a pocket clip device - like on a pen? I am always having to dig it out of my shirt pocket... It would have to be something that would not scratch up the finish...

Well, a search on "pencil clip" will bring some things up. I have no idea whether any will mar the finish of your Volt.

The reason I was considering the clip is because so far it has slipped out of my pocket into grout, dirt, sawdust, grass, under the sink, and almost got nailed behind some baseboard this morning. I either need a clip or stop carrying it around with me...

I've carried mine around in my jeans pockets quite a bit. Even went through the airport nuker with one in my pocket (TSA didn't bat an eye). It holds up pretty good. I do keep the sleeve on the cart end, though, as I don't want dirt, grout, grass, pocket lint, etc., to get inside. :D

There was one pencil clip that had a ball end and had what looked to be a decent adjustable clip that might work ok, and not mar the finish since you don't slide it on. Otherwise, you might end up looking for a plastic pen/pocket protector.

Hm, heavy duty rubber band, one end through the loop of a clip attached to an ID badge holder that clips on a belt with that pull cable thingamabob, and the other end wrapped and tied securely to the Volt? Might work in a pinch until a better solution can be had, and pretty handy to snatch up and vape. For that matter, there may be a more logical solution... I have a lanyard specifically built to hold a KR808 battery, has a rubber holder to slip the end of the battery into. I think it was basically designed along the rubber band method, lol. I wouldn't want to tug hard on it, but the rubber holder fits pretty snug, the battery wouldn't go flying unless the holder did too.

Pocket protector is definitely out - I am not that geeky... I only mentioned it in case others thought it might also be a good idea. I will figure something out. For now, I am leaving it on the counter while I am working. Almost nailing one behind the base board was the last straw...

Hmmm ... I guess relying on cleavage is out.
