Hm, I have a question or two.

I just received the purple manual 650 X2 and a blue manual 900 X2. The purple one seems to be a happy little guy, but the blue one to me... I'm not so sure. He appears unfinished. I can smell a really strong chemical smell with the blue X2 (I've name it Stinky), like a not so pleasant epoxy/glue smell, and the end cap looks like it was just machined and has heat or stress marks inside. The threads are all gray under the end cap, like there was a build up of gunk of some kind - or, again, it wasn't cleaned up and polished after machining. The button seems to work, though it takes me a couple of tries to turn off/on with the 5-click. Seems to be charging ok (it is hooked up to charge with the wall adapter 1.5amp now). So, this blue X2 maybe just didn't go through the finishing "make it pretty" process and it is ok?

Oh, and love the longer charging cords, by the way.

We only spot check them on this end...we do not open the box and look before shipping every time.

We only spot check them on this end...we do not open the box and look before shipping every time.

Well, except for the unfinished polishing or whatever it is, the battery seems to be working ok. I don't see a need for it to be replaced. I'll try to pictures of it, nonetheless, so folks can see what I'm talking about. The smell seems to be less today. I think it basically just missed the cleaning and polishing run and slipped right into inventory after the rubberized skin was applied.

Also, Stinky Blue is probably not going to see as much use as my purple "Little Big Man" battery (the 650 X2). This guy was in my hand all day long (when I wasn't in meetings). I am officially smitten with the 650 for taking to work and walking about. Vapes perfectly, at the "Goldilocks" level - it's just right - with my standard cartos. The "Bad Boy" 1300 X2 is definitely my stay at home battery, it's a pacifier when I'm on the computer, and seems to work best with either the clearo, or the 808 to 510 adapter and Phoenix tank-type carto. Stinky Blue is odd battery out, for the moment, but I'm thinking of trying the XL cartos with it when I get some of the XL's.

Want is the resistance on the SI cartos? I was thinking of trying a fluxomizer until you guys get them. The only ones I am finding for an 808 is either 2.4-2.6 or 2.8-3.0. I want to make sure I try the right one that won't fry my battery.

That is weird, I ordered stuff on Friday night at 10pm and still received it on Tuesday.

I did place an order for the new clearos with the long wicks last night and it is still in processing. That's the longest I have ever had an order in processing, but I am assuming its because I ordered the, as soon as you said they were in

either of those are fine... just do not go below 2.4 ohms on the standard batts...

I placed an order also and mine say "shipment accepted 5/29" and "processed at USPS in Warrendale PA on 5/29 and its still there today 5/31. Its expected delivery was for today, 5/31 (California). I wonder if they misplaced a bag.

What really gets me is that my X2 1300 is having issues. It seems like its dying. Its been getting weaker and weaker. I guess I need to call CS and let them know. I think it was one of the last from the original batch that came in.

I have been using one of the v2 1300mA manual batteries for about two weeks now.
Today both usb ports on my computer were being used so I hooked my cord up to a usb wall charger.
The difference is like night and day with it plugged in. Seems like it is 4 times more powerful.
The charger is rated at 5v-1000mA. What would make this happen and am I doing anything that may hurt the battery?

It finally got here today. Thank you though and I love my little purple V2. Its so cute. I cant wait to fire it up. That makes 3 V2's in the house.

I placed an order after you posted that and received one long wick red and one of the old style black. Are the black supposed to be long wick too? I specifically asked for the new version in the comments.
