What Rave said. The "gold" is a plain metallic finish, like the silver. I see it more as "brass." The copper is a rubberized finish, and to me, looks more like an antique gold. This copper color is the one you see on the website on the "Easy Battery Select" page under Accessories. I covered the "gold" metallic battery with my leopard battery wrap (color matched nicely), and I covered my silver/chrome metallic battery with a flag battery wrap. The regular batteries are too slick for me to hang onto with just the silver or gold metallic finishes.

Oy, I was just on the site and notices this too and submitted something on the Suggestions thread about that. Wish I had checked here first. Still, I find it confusing. Got my eye on that Copper one, but want to wait and see the iridescent ones first.

It's just the fingerprints that bug me. But boy, they sure are pretty when they're shiny! and with the black cartos too! Classy! :p
Reminds me of the old Sobranies that I used to smoke...but in reverse... (haha, my "stage" smokes. Those and the "Cocktail" ones in fluorescent colors.)
Me too on the iridescent ones. My Sky Blue (very first Volt) is about to join Whitey in heaven...

Ok, here's a more "technical" question. Have there been reports/complaints about low vapor output and "feed" problems when using JC PG based juices in SI cartos? I've tried both the PG and VG juices from JC and there is a significant difference in vapor and "consistency" between them with the VG producing a better experience.

Vg will always give more vapor, but will clog cartos.

Pg should give you any problems with flow, just not as much vapor

I should have added that I know VG produces more vapor than PG, but the output from the JC PG seems significantly lower MOST of the time. Occasionally it does produce what I consider a reasonable amount but the vapor output varies widely even on a freshly filled carto which makes me think it's a "feed" problem related to the low viscosity of the juice.

Hmm, maybe they should add "Chrome" to Gold and Silver (Gold Chrome, Silver Chrome). I didn't even know the Gold Chrome actually made it out. I thought it was just a yellower version of the rubberized copper. See what you miss when you're broke?

To be quite honest, you didn't miss much. The gold chrome has a bit of a greenish cast to it (in my opinion). It just doesn't look gold gold. That's why I covered mine with the gold sparkle skin.

I have one chrome (my original) but rarely use it just because I prefer the feel of the rubberized ones. But it would be the best for putting skins on since it adheres better (IMHO). I got the iridescent from the other place and it is a smooth finish, so I'm guessing when SI gets theirs it might be too. I was hoping it would have a little texture to it like the jewelry made of that material has, but I guess we have to wait (and wait and wait) and see.
