Hey imagine.

I have noticed that one of my 900mah x2is burning hotter than any other battery I have. I finally tested it and it is pushing 4.2v even after an hour of use. Every other battery I have including my other 3 x2 and all my 78mm measure out at 3.7.

What would be causing that? Should I fill a ticket or is it ok to use?

4.2V is normal when the battery is fully charged.
If the battery is new it just isn't discharged yet, use it some time without charging and you will see it dropping gradually untill it reaches the 3.2V cutoff.
Mine do that too, even the 78mm ones when fully charged are 4.2V.
Seems a bit strange tho.

It's not a new battery, it's 2 months old. My other battery's, right off the charger are running 3.7. So is my brand new x2 that I just got.

It's not a big deal, since that's basically what a kgo is. I guess somehow this one isn't regulated. So long as the battery isn't going bad or going to blow up

Imagine, please forgive me as you've probably responded to this a number of times; However, I have failed to see it addressed.

The point system states:

"For every $4 that you spend you will earn 1 point."

As I'm sure you know, that is not actually correct.

If each individual item is under $4 you receive zero points regardless of the total amount of the order. Could this be changed so that the points are awarded based on the final amount of one's order?

Thank you

You don't want that proudlion. Right now we earn volt points before coupons. If they did it based on final order, we would earn less volt points since most of us use a coupon or sale on every order. The better thing would be to offer a 1/2 point for anything under $4

Actually, I do want that. Perhaps I didn't explain clearly and should have referenced "subtotals" rather than "total" of the order.

As it is - if you order 1 Green Clearomizer for $6.45 and 1 Clear Clearomizer for $6.45 - totaling $12.90 you earn 2 points.

However, if you order the same number but two of the same color for $6.45 each totaling $12.90 - you earn 3 points. In both cases you've spent the same amount.

maybe you could order 1 green then order another 1 green, rather than 2 at once? Wonder if that would work.... but I do see your point (no pun intended)

LOL! No - doesn't work ... if you do that you still only get 2 points - if you order 2 at once you get 3

But it has to be 2 of the same color, right? Showing a qty of 2? I remember seeing that as I was making my last order, but I didn't play around with it. I'm betting this is a glitch/un-intended result in the software.

Just curious here about the scrolling ads on the SI homepage. One says "enjoy smoking without the tar or ash" another says "enjoy flavor with our specially designed filter tips."

I love SI, don't get me wrong, I couldn't be happier with the products and service and the employees. I'm just wondering if that is the best way to promote the Volts and accessories/flavors.

Maybe it would be better to say "enjoy satisfaction without the tar or ash" and "enjoy flavor with our specially designed tips." Just my random thoughts about trying to stay away from the words that would remind me of smoking and cigarettes.

Again, I LOVE SI......just curious! :)

I think they are trying to get the new people with that copy. For instance I still referred to vaping as smoking for about two weeks after I received my first Volt. People not in the know will still refer to vaping as smoking.

I agree, they are trying to reach smokers whose language would be different,,,,,,I get why it bugs you, educating the masses is important,,,,,,,,,but so is educating SMOKERS.

On a bright note,,,,,,,,,,a volt is an advertisement all in itself LOL, I got asked by about 10 different people at Disney in the smoking section what I was "smoking" and was it any good and where should they buy it :) (I passed out cards with both the ECF website and smokeless Image website on it)

Grego: You are probably correct there, smokers ARE the target after all! Sometimes I just don't see all the angles I suppose. Haha, how quickly I forget I was one for a VERY long time!

Starsong: Yes, I am wondering how everything will look too, and what changes will be made. And, of course, how the new fancy battery will be presented. :)

Holly: Good on you for passing out those cards! You did write your referral code on them, right? I just found out about that recently. A couple of extra points along the way don't hurt at all!!
