Hi Bukket I am sorry you are upset... but I do not see the response the same way that you do. The first thing we always try to do is trouble shoot to ensure it is not a user variable or error. If it is user error or simply a certain variable causing an issue...then no matter how many times we replace the product the same issues may occur. It appears the response is not answer but more of a sharing of his experience...to which he is most likely expecting a response.. to say "yes I do vape heavily and that might be causing the issue....now what do we do?" or "No I do not vape that heavily...now what do we do? Vaping heavily can cause any atomizer to get very hot.. and may outpace the wicking....
Most people have no issues with the clearos and a few people can't seem to get them in their sweet spot... there are a lot of variables that play in... how much you vape.. how many fills a carto/clearo has had...what liquid you use... how much pg/vg.... etc...and at the end of the day some products just may not be a good fit for certain users...
I believe the CS person to be engaging you in a dialogue to get to the bottom of the issue...
Also suggesting that clearos may just not be right for the way you vape...and you might have a better experience with the coming CE3's.
You are by no means a guinea pig.... we sell thousands of these clearos and only a small % have had an issue.... which is usually caused by a variable (example: cracking in the past due to certain chemicals in a few e-liquids...which we responded to and have now fixed.... overfilling the cartos past the 1.6ml line will cause a burnt taste or some leaking... not rotating the clearo to ensure it is wicking....vaping it before it has had a chance to wick... which may have been your issue as you were running out of the house... not sure? etc)
I think the disconnect is you felt this was a final answer... which it is not simply further communication on the issue.
It is true that once a clearo or carto has acquired a burnt taste it is hard to fix...However I do not think he was implying that they all have an issue.. just that if the clearos is not filled properly or is not wicking well... it can cause this...
Now that all being said if this is your first clearo out of 5 that has had an issue.. then it would make sense that it be replaced... however if that is not the case then it is important to get to the route of the issue.
I hope that you may re-read the conversation with new eyes and reply back in order to rectify the situation for you. One way or another I am confident that it will be settled to your satisfaction
