I have a problem with XL blank cartos. I was surprised to see the black ones in stock, so I purchased 5 boxes during the V-day special. They came in white boxes instead of the black boxes I've had in the past, BTW. Anyway, I've tried 2 so far and I could not get either to fire. I've tried several batteries, fiddled with the battery posts, and spun them to get the juice down to the coil. I had one working for a few puffs, then nada again. Very frustrating as SI cartos are always so darned reliable and I hate wasting juice (yeah I'll spin some of the juice out of them). Have you changed them...any recommendations?

they should not be changed...not sure why there were in white boxes... let CS know and they can credit you back for them.... they may have to go through all the XL inventory.

I have a few questions about the nano.
I bought one to try, and the idea of being able to see the juice level really appeals to me. The first one I filled without cleaning it and was rewarded with a nasty lighter fluid taste after letting the juice soak in for about 15 minutes but that cleared up in a little while. So Im thinking of ordering a few more.
How does one clean them before the initial fill to get rid of the primer and for sanitary conditions?
Can they be cleaned between refills and if yes, how (soaking in hot water, vodka, etc)?
After they are refilled, do they need time to soak in the juice for 10-15 min again ?
Why do the work better as far as draw and taste are concerned, when 2/3 full but not initially (almost to the top) ? Does it have anything to do with vaccum or some kind of pressure inside of the tube ? Should I not fill them up to the top at all ?
Exactly how many times can they be refilled?
If defective, can they be exchanged or returned at the Hoboken store ?
Why do they sometimes gurgle and spit juice (HOT) in the mouth? Doesnt happen often , but happens.
Do they need to be lightly tapped or blown out like your other carts to get rid of the air bubbles?
Looking forward to the "official" answers from Imagine .
Thanks )

I was looking at the the volt x2 passthru battery and was wondering if it was compatiable with ego cartos?

It’s kind of hit and miss Kellie, but usually no. I used the Kanger T2 with X2 batteries with no problems, but the T3 didn’t fit right. I haven’t tried the new eVod yet, but I will when I get home from work. Are you still looking for a green battery?

Hi :)

Let me try and go point by point:

* The first 10 or so drags you may be getting a primer taste that will go away
* Cleaning these is not truly recommended as they can be delicate and take a long time to dry. If you are going to clean them a vodka soak and a 2-3 day dry time would be suggested. But these are one of the more disposable clearos we sell.
* Refilling should have less of a wait time as the wick is already saturated.
* There may be some pressure related issues that allow you to have a better vape 3/4 full then 100% full. Or it may be that you have just warmed it up.
* They can be refilled as many times as you like until the vapor production and taste start to dwindle. We use these as testers in the store and basically refill them about 5-20 times before we toss them.
* All of our clearomizers and cartomizers are nonrefundable. That is not to say that once and a while there is a DOA carto and we can give you a discount for your next purchase or if you bring them back the next day with the receipt we can give you an exchange only.
* Spitting and gurgling may happen if you get liquid inside the center tube or if you are warming them up...or if you are chain vaping.
* Tapping them may help yes.
* These are our most delicate clearos/cartos. They perform best on the stick batts. They are not the most durable but they are much easier to fill then the ce3 (the ce3 is much more durable) but that is the trade of for convenience.

Thank you for the throrough answers Imagine )
So just how safe (or dangerous) is it to inhale the primer fumes during break in puffs ?
also, thres a huge gap between 5 and 20 refills , wouldnt you agree ? I normally use Desert joe or 555 from si.
With just those juices, is it 5 or 20 refills that one shoud expect from the nano?
Thank you again )

primer is fine ....it is used commonly with ecigs.

It will depend on the care you take with them.... as far as how many refills so I cannot really say. If you are delicate with them...not a chain vapor... don't wash them... don't dry burn them.....use SI liquids....don't drop/sit on them...twist them on and off too hard etc...you should get about 20 fills

Hi. I bought a starter kit with two "1 x Sealed Auto Black Batteries 78mm", charge them fully each night, but they only last an hour or so, max. I have a 22-minute commute to and from work, alternate between the two units and that's the only time I vape until I get home When I do get home they're both dead in the first half-hour after I arrive. Is that normal? I end up not being able to vipe in the last couple of hours after I get home from work and go to bed because they're charging. I thought they'd last longer than that.
