Hmm, mine's a Tobeco (is that what FT's selling?) but i might try that. You mean increased airflow somehow eliminated the leaking into the "air chamber" of the deck?

The FT version I bought was the first one that showed up (item #2018000). Tobeco's version is far superior to that version. I think the gurgling was either condensation that accumulated in the center post or leaked down from the wick. Unscrewing the airflow screw opened up the holes enough that the gurgling stopped.

Yeah that anticloning re: the logos shouldn't go too far! Those Germans design a mean machine. And I'd rather fly in a Boeing 747 than a Poing.

Got an allegedly Tobeco spare parts kit. $15 shipped. Sorry assed pinch of penny parts in a baggie. The #16 was no better than the stock ones. Nice to have spares but I hope I don't ever need them, they look kind of ragged. .

One thing I like about the black Tobeco is that the logo is very hard to see.

For $5 more, you could've gotten another tobeco KF4.

you can removed but really really hard to do it .. even i need to spoil one of my insulator see the mark red

after i also can fix so more easy to a adjust "rotary control" (i dont know how to say it)

I think that's an early Ehpro. The newer ones are supposed to come apart like the authentic and all the other clones.

KTM are you saying that you can keep the tighter draw on your Tobecos but not on the FT? I get the gurgling on both of my Tobecos with a tighter draw. My problem is it's too tight for a lung hit but too loose for a mouth to lung hit, for me anyway. I have tried the 12.5 o-rings and same result. My EHPro KFL+ I used with air screw turned in a turn if that helps you know what I am used to.

I have 2 Tobecos and it's the same with both. I don't get leaking out the air holes with either of them. I have tried 2.4-2.8 ID 28awg coils. I haven't tried ni200 in either but don't think that would have an effect I it. vape around 14.5 watts with Shiseido cotton.

Actually, they're all set the same now. I guess the tighter draw pulls more juice into the wicks. I used my KFL+ w/o the air screws and they were pretty good. I got used to the airier draw of the KF4 and I like it more now. I'm using rayon.

So I havent bought anything vape wise since November but my KFL+ is getting pretty worn out and has been dropped several times so Im in the market for some new gear. Whats the best V4 clone currently out there, is the Robottech better than the tobeco, these are the two Im currently looking at. Thanks in advance.
I think that question could start an argument. I have noticed quite a few folks saying good things about the Tobeco V4. Also some reasonably good opinions of the Infinity from the Fasttech Web site. Problem with the Fasttech one is they are just getting past Chinese New Year and it will be about a month before their shipping gets back to its normally slow pace again. Basically if you decide on the Infinity you should order it somewhere other than Fasttech. That is if you want it anytime soon.

Sent while sitting on my busted ..... Stay off the ice if you can't skate. I can't and didn't.

Woohoo blue Tobeco arrived from Kanvape today. Went with the free first class shipping so I was expecting it to go from Kansas to New York and Florida before it got here in California (like my Illumination Supply order which is in the same state as me). Ordered it late Tuesday night, not bad! Man that blue is rad may have to get the blue Sigelei mini to go with it. :) This is the first of my 3 Tobecos that smells like oil. Not bad like a tool from Harbor Freight though. Off to the wash with her!!
F my life man. Was just rinsing everything off, top nut that holds the tank slipped and went straight down the drain. Good thing one of my SS ones has the poly tank on it so I've got a spare for now. #epicvapefail

EDIT: Hah got it!!! Was thinking 'wait a minute it won't float', pulled off the pipe underneath and it was still sitting in the 'elbow'. Forgot about the whole water thing and drenched my pants and the bathroom floor but hey found the top nut! :D

Amazing what the trap can catch. Nice that you thought about taking the pipe apart and found it. Hope you cleaned it really well after that. Next time, put a small bucket under the pipe, to catch the standing water.

HD
Ya know its the second time I've done that! Once the pipe loosened up and I pulled it off to retighten it and did the exact same thing!! This time I was just stoked when I knocked on it and heard rattling in there, I didn't even think about it haha. Yeah it got yet another scrub down. Just waiting for it to dry now, so glad I don't have to use the poly tank since this blue is really awesome and I don't have to steal parts from my other two haha.
Now I've got my 3 V4s! One for each of my ADVs! I'm gonna have to mix up something new to justify getting a black one next week! ;)

Glad I waited for the black FourNines clone for the black Tobeco KF V4. It's a stunning and very compact rig. In fact I'm puzzled at how much smaller the FourNines is than any other mod. Same battery, same atty, much shorter !? Very small flush magnetic switch, pinless 510 head. Smart.

And did I say purdy?

The Tobecco is way better than the Robottech, having said that I think the Infinite is the best clone

I have both and I personally like the tobeco better. The infinite may have smoother threading but my air holes are smaller, and it's more difficult to wick properly. I ordered two infinite clones and one of them didn't even have the air holes drilled.

Were did you get them?
I went this route https://www.fasttech.com/products/2070900
I turned the screw around put a screw driver through the hole and adjusted it down to hit the 510 pin. Locked the threads in place and so far it's stable :)
no fluctuation in ohms at all :)

Looking to get a better contact point for the DNA40 chip I picked up a couple of these to replace the counter nut for TC builds. I running a 6 wrap 24ga titanium spaced coil @ .22Ω and so far the build has been very dependable. Excellent vapor at 280° - 22.4watts

Picked them up here Steamer, they got to me in about a week.

I'm real pleased so far, it seems to have really tightened things up the K4 when using them on the DNA40

Sweet Fender ThunderDan!!

Monotremata - I SAY MONOTREMATA - oh, you CAN hear me? HA
Quite the pedal selection. I used to love my Boss BF-2 Flanger. The Phaser, not as much.
The DOD Digital Delay was probably my favorite.
Cut 12 pedals down to the Digitech RP-250, can do most anything (at a tiny loss) in one small, easy (and cheap) box.
Except a crybaby wah - irreplaceable!

Haha I searched for years for a chorus that did that 80s post-punk goth thing, and the day I plugged in that BF-2 it was all over! Then I found out that WAS the pedal most of em used haha. Billy Duffy of the Cult even has his "She Sells Sanctuary" settings on his website.
The wah was my very first pedal I ever got back in like 91. I love it after my HM-2, it makes the most piercing shrieking sweeps haha.
I tried to buy a mint DM-2 on the local craigslist when I got my tax return last month but the guy never wrote me back! Guess he didn't really want $250.

Oh yeah blue Tobeco is rocking! JC is a little tight but it hasn't locked up yet!

I may try that, I have an extra if I mess up. I finally decided to get a DNA 40 box.
