So I havent bought anything vape wise since November but my KFL+ is getting pretty worn out and has been dropped several times so Im in the market for some new gear. Whats the best V4 clone currently out there, is the Robottech better than the tobeco, these are the two Im currently looking at. Thanks in advance.
The Tobecco is way better than the Robottech, having said that I think the Infinite is the best clone

I don't know about Robottech But the Infinite Kay-Fun V4 is better than the Tobeco. FT sells them for 26.84 :)

Yeah, but you can get a stainless Tobeco inside a few days for $22 or less shipped via Ebay, I wouldn't count on seeing anything out of FT before mid-March.

Don't know if I'd 'trust' in tobeco Yerba, they've put some junk on the market. But their V4s are good, EHpro is usually a better clone mfg.
Your P3 is limited to .7Ω and 20watts, so low ohm dual coil drippers are out of the question with this mod. Single coil higher ohm will work, you may find you would want more power.

Dual coil drippers work good on a p3. You just can't go with anything above 28g wire I use my doge running 1-1.5 ohms with 30-32g @ 10-18w and it chucks clouds and flavor just fine. You guys seem to forget that smaller gauge wire doesn't need as much power to get the same results as sub ohm thick wire set ups and going dual 10 wrap 32g has advantages to batt life as well. The only issue is som atty's need to have a small piece of SS tube in the holes to better handle the thinner wire without cutting it.

Well damn. I finally got my 12x1.5mm orings in to replace 16 and i'm still getting minor leaking... enough to have a few tiny drops form in the air inlets causing a slight gurgle. Really bummed. Thought this would fix it. I've addressed every other part... perfected my wicking (god knows i've had years to practice lol) i'll have to bring it to work one day and take some caliper measurements and see if i might have a part that's a little big/small.

True enough :) But I'm Canadian and here it takes all most as long to get some thing out of the US as it does from FT :)
The Poster is from UK and I would suspect shipping from US to UK isn't really fast either.
Not to mention the infinite is a really nice piece :)

I had the same issue on my FT after replacing the o-ring. I opened up the air flow screw and that solved my gurgling. I've tried different wicks but similar set ups on my other KF4's didn't have this issue.

I dunno man, I lived in BC for years, still got stuff out of the US via Ebay pretty quick, with small items that came via Canada Post/USPS and didn't have duty, it usually added a day or two at most getting through the border and to me. Stuff from the EU/UK, China, Korea and Japan seemed to take several days longer to clear CBSA, even the cheap stuff. Stuff from India would sit in customs for weeks. :)

And there is indeed eBay in the UK. :)

Not dissing the Infinite, it's just not as readily available as local stock as the nearly-as-good-sans-spares Tobeco.

May I assume that the EHPRO isn't a one-to-one? I picked up two black instances from Sweet Vapes today. When I disassembled them to give them an initial soap bath #9 had no slots in it and appeared that it can not be removed. So #3 #5 #8 can not be separated. I didn't see a #10/#11 combo either. My HCigar comes apart just like the diagram. This is the "new" EHPRO with slotted threads.

Any insight from the EHPRO vets ?
I've contacted Sweet Vapes, they acknowledge that an older version was inadvertently shipped to me and have already shipped out replacements. Fantastic service.

I have 3 Tobecos. Not a single problem with any off them. Would buy again if I needed too. All still have original parts.

Yass! And the Lemo looks good sort of half tone.
Thinking of mixing & matching parts from a black and a SS.
That just MIGHT require buying more ...

I'm sitting here eating lunch and running out of liquid. I just realized I went through most of a KF V4 tank - what is that, 3 ml? AND most of a 3 ml Genisis tank - in 40 minutes, and all that glycerin is on the walls and windows and furniture???

Wow. I'll defer to the ehpro experts, but you're right, that's not a 1:1, and frankly, sucks!

Yeah that anticloning re: the logos shouldn't go too far! Those Germans design a mean machine. And I'd rather fly in a Boeing 747 than a Poing.

Got an allegedly Tobeco spare parts kit. $15 shipped. Sorry assed pinch of penny parts in a baggie. The #16 was no better than the stock ones. Nice to have spares but I hope I don't ever need them, they look kind of ragged. .

The stainless tanks are 4ml I think, the polycarb one a little less..
I filled my poly tank up before I left to work. After 2 10 minute breaks and an hour lunch of chain vaping, I'm down to the holes in the chimney. A customer earlier said I reminded her of the caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland haha..

I 've got two tobeco's and one of the 1:1 clones that even has the sticker on the box. The tobeco's are problem free but the other one leaked immediately by shredding a piece of rubber off that #16 11X1.5mm o-ring when I put it together. I went ahead and ordered a bag of 25 - 12X1.5 silicone o-rings from oringsandmore.

So a week or so I bought the "overhaul" kit which included all the orings, white plastic, and all the small metal pieces from ebay because I suspected the machine oil on my Tobeco had soaked into them. Rebuilt the Kv4 and no more strange flavor.

28ga 3mm 1.2 ohms wicked with rayon just touching the juice holes. Perfect. Now time to widen the holes on the spare center post (#14).

Woohoo blue Tobeco arrived from Kanvape today. Went with the free first class shipping so I was expecting it to go from Kansas to New York and Florida before it got here in California (like my Illumination Supply order which is in the same state as me). Ordered it late Tuesday night, not bad! Man that blue is rad may have to get the blue Sigelei mini to go with it. :) This is the first of my 3 Tobecos that smells like oil. Not bad like a tool from Harbor Freight though. Off to the wash with her!!
