The Tobeco ones are the best clones made. You might have gotten a bad one. I have 3 that have worked perfectly for about a year so far.

I'm with Ricks ... 2 Tobeco's have been working fine for me. Just bought a 3rd, but haven't used it yet. One has a very slight wobble/looseness even when the juice control is completely closed. For me they work as good as my 'real' ones.

Mark me down for 2 more Tobecos, one logoless from KP, and a black from Kanvape, both 100% out of the box, quick clean is all they needed, no leaks, no wicking issues at all, o-rings are fine out of the box. Actually, same thing goes for the first 5 Tobecos I picked up. Only bad ones I got both from Focal, Robottech which never would wick right, and the other unknown manufacturer that is complete crap.

I got a blue Tobeco v4 today. It was only $12.50 so I had to give it a try. This is my 1st Kayfun so I am looking around to see what I can learn before I do my first build on it.
Busardo is good for getting to know the K4.

Watch Phil. And Ruby. The best way to learn. Good luck!

Or watch Ruby--she's using the Tobeco clone, which we're all using here, I presume:

Mine came from Kanvape too.

I was impressed with the K4 for a while and it did produce a lightly more flavorful vape. I have 3 Tobecos, two of which have never been used. Once day I was having leaking issues with the K4 I was using and I filled up my old Tobeco Kayfun 3. It was so easy that I never went back to the K4.

I just got tired of the complexity and the large number of o-rings and parts. I swapped the wide mouth drip tip from the K4 onto my KF3 and changed back to a simpler life.

Kayfun 3? Do you have a link? I have four of the kfl+ but don't know that I've seen the 3. The kfl+ always work great and I've about given up on the 4.
KF3's are old but the KF 3.1 ES is still available. Quite the unique device, bottom fill through a little ball providing you have the proper tip. Twice as heavy as a KFL+ due to the catch tray but it works exactly the same and all the parts are interchangeable with the KFL+.
SvoëMesto | Kayfun 3.1

You could make the 3.1 into a Hybrid for the Nemesis with the adapter kit.

This was one of the best 3.1's on FT but has been discontinued like a lot of them.

That sure sounds cool how that one is filled. That sure would beat unscrewing that little screw on the kfl+
If you get the right Luer Lock tip the fill port works like a charm, otherwise it pours juice all down the side of the atty. Most people will top fill the 3.1 or pick up the top fill top cap from FT

One of the more interesting Kayfun fill methods I've seen was simply drilling a hole in the threading of the plastic mid section, just unscrew the tank part way, fill, then tighten it up. Think it was coined Ghost fill, or some such. You could do it with the standard steel/plastic tank set, but the one they sold was slightly thicker, and a bit more sturdy. I never really cared much for the 3.1 catch cup was a bit of a PITA, and the one I have would lose negative conductivity if the threads were not kept very clean, and overly tight. It came a bit too late, and was never very popular, but the Kayfil tool was a really nice addition to the pre-KF4 scene.
