Attack of the (Kayfun v4) Clones!

I was playing around with my new mutation x v3 on a IPV2X last night, then a while later I put my kayfun 4 clone back on it. I forgot to change my wattage, kayfun 4 at 60w, only for a second, but that was not pleasant, hot nasty burned cotton taste...mmmm.

I don't think I damaged anything, other than my wick, but I really need to stop doing that.

A weird thing is happening with my KF4. Maybe it's totally normal and I just don't know. Vapor is coming out one or more of the holes on the juice control ring. I have no leaking of liquid, just vapor while using it. Is something wrong or is it normal?

That is normal but only if you are exhaling into the drip tip. It just pushes any remaining vapor in the chamber and chimney out through the air inlet holes.

It also happens if you don't inhale fully. Take your finger off the switch a moment before you finish inhaling.

A friend tried vaping several of mine last week for the first time. She had trouble with the technique and could barely inhale. Vapor was coming out the dt and airholes so badly, they all looked like they were on fire.

Their backlog should be clear by the end of the week or early next week.

I don't like the fact that the ohms can vary up to .2Ω when you use the JC. Once the JC is screwed on snug, it doesn't move though.

I can't vape over 12w

I've been vaping on my DNA30 and new Cloupor Mini at 12w. I could probably get up to about 15w or a little more.

I have been vaping my k4 (Tobeco) on both my P3 and DNA30 at 17 to 18w. I do have a 0.9 ohm build in it though.

I'm using a 1.57Ω coil and it was a warm vape at 16w. One thing I noticed is that on the rDNA40 with a ni200 coil (.15Ω), the atomizer never gets warm like when I'm chain vaping on a regular mod with a 1.5Ω coil.

I rarely put my Kayfun on a regulated mod but when I do it's around 14-15W. I like Kayfuns on mechs too much though. If I get another V4 I'm going to get another mech mod to go with it.

I recently started using 5 wraps of 30g kanthal around three pieces of 3mm silica at 1.7Ω. Best flavor for me so far.

Sorry, that was not my Kayfun, it was my subtank. I vape the Kayfun v4 at 3.5 Watts.

Also, could someone provide a link for a good place to buy the tobeco clone? The one I got isnt a Tobeco. Not sure who cloned it. It came in what looked like an original Kayfun v4 box with the 100% authentic sticker sealing the container closed. The o-rings are red if that is indicative of anything.
