Holy poop, this flow control will be the death of me. It's so darn tight it's near impossible to turn. Every time I try to close it I loosen the plastic tank section.

First couple of times my auth was like that. I always put my thumb on the sm logo and twist the jc in conjunction with the base with the other hand. Some had to use a pin or something in an air hole to get it started initially as they were tight and needed to break in. Also, no need to tighten a lot either direction, just finger tighten. Seems confusing at first, but it will be an automatic and thoughtless process once you get it.

Here are some side by side comparison pics between the Robbot Tech version and the Tobeco .. each on has something that I like better on the other version, but I am thinking that I am going to much prefer Tobeco's juice flow control. The Robbot Tech version is the one with juice in it :p and I tried my Tobeco clear tank and it screwed on fine for me.

So am I spinning the bottom most part of the Kayfun, or is the groove area with the airflow holes supposed to spin?

Hold the part with the logo and turn the part with a bunch of air holes. This is to remove the base with the build deck without emptying the tank, and upside down. As Mtek said you may need to insert a smallscrew driver or pin into one of the air holes for leverage.

Or are trying to open or close the liquid control?

I went back and read your post about the problem, this is a clone is it not?

OK, I'm aware of this problem and took mine down so I could get an idea for just how to remedy it. I have a couple of ideas but I almost need one of my 3 clones that haven't arrived yet to have the problem so I can see it better.
Have you take your down to where the 510 base is completely off?

Sorry if this has been answered but who makes the clone with red orings and authentic looking packaging?

FastTech has them Kayfun V4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer. I picked a couple up and so far pretty nice. The only thing I've found with this one I'm using is the part of the chimney that screws to the base, the threading is a little rough, every other thread is like butter.

So fast tech makes it??? And I agree the threads are more buttery than my authentic

Fasttech doesn't actually make them. They usually won't release who the manufacturer is. I have no idea why but that what I have heard. Glad they are nice though as I have one arriving early next week:)

Just make sure you clean that afc adjustment screw a billion times and the hole and deck... That machine oil is caked on there...

I bought my wife a sonic jewelry cleaner for Christmas:). I plan on using that with some Dawn dish soap and warm water. Any other suggestions or do you guys think that will do the trick?

If I like the clones I will request an authentic for my birthday. Wife is always looking for suggestions.
