For sure, use some type of pick, nettle, pin, whatever, each and every hole. I'm amazed at what I found after washing twice.

Yup. I use some old dental tools I use for my hobbies. If one googles for a "wax carving kit" you can find a cheap (10 or 12 bucks shipped) way to deep clean small items... (like Chinese toppers) :)

I have an o ring that's causing a minor leak. Pretty sure its the one under the build deck. I'm seeing itty bitty juice spots under the "knurled" ring with the airholes, and airflow feels a bit obstructed.

However, I'm starting to enjoy the flavor so I would really like to get this atty running perfectly.

On mine they used a drip tip o-ring, hardly the right size. Suppose to be (#18), 10 x 1.5 mm not 5 x 1.5 mm ( but a 5/16" ID x 1/16 will work nicely and can be bought at plumbing supply stores) 1/16 is just a tad thicker than 1.5 mm so when you stretch it on it comes out right, same for the one under it (#16, 11 x 1.5 mm) 3/8" id x 1/16" fits well

This thing is typical German engineering. Works flawlessly, but has 30 more parts than it actually needs, and if one part is missing it won't work.

I like the features, but it really is over engineered. I managed to get a dead short in it when I was adjusting the airflow screw. If you are loosening the airflow after having tightened the airflow, make sure the posi post is not turning. If it is, the posi deck can come loose and short out on the negative deck. This results in battery trauma, burnt metallic taste, and hot buttons. Also has a tendency to cause the spring in the atty to collapse.

I should have known better, I guess I was thinking about something else. I got my 10 x 1.5 mm and 11 x 1.5 mm o-rings in the mail yesterday but did I use any? Nope,
Clone with hole in deck started leaking at work and right away I thought my hole repair was to blame. Turned out to be o-ring #16, they used a 10 x 1.5 instead of 11 x 1.5, much better with the 11 as I could feel the "drag" of the o-ring as I screwed it together.
Oh, maybe I should change them on the other one too, done, what a difference in how they fit. (tighter)

Thanks. The one on there is pretty obvious to me its not the listed size. I suspect a couple others aren't right either.

Anyone have a Black one yet? Curious to how durable the finish is.

My black Tobeco shipped Friday. I should get it sometime this week. I'm also curious how the finish is. I have 3 black Ehpro KFL+'s that have held up great.

There's also a few different black KF v4's. Some with silver trim, others with silver lines but the Tobeco is supposed to be all black.

Using 28g kanthal wire at 1.4ohms around a 3/32 drill bit. Koh gen do for the cotton. It is just slightly above the air hole.

How much cotton? Try a bit less. Also raise the coil about 1.5mm to 2mm above the air hole.

What type of juice? I'm using 50-75% VG on a similar coil (rayon wicks) and it's very smooth for me.

I saw some of them. The 2 tone looks good too but I want the Tobeco ones only. I figure I can mix the ss and black pieces to what I want also. I think I will order the black one today. I can also use my black battery tube on my ZNA.
