Enjoying my two v4's so much that I ordered another. For $19.95, I can use it for parts if need be. Otherwise, this one will stay boxed up for future use.

Paint the outside of the crack with clear fingernail polish. In the mean time, follow the above advice and order a couple replacement glass from fasttech. I did for "just in case".

You sure thats a cracked? I zoomed in on it and I could barely see a scratch. Maybe its a scratch. If it cracked, find some good clear tape and wrap it tight while its still together on the KF4.
Man, I can't wait for February. I'm ordering a black Tobeco KF4 and a Wotofo SMPL clone and another IBT tank for the black one.
Too bad I completely blew my budget for this month.
I am (was) having leaking problems with #16 o-ring on two FT type A clones, tried all kinds of sizes and used Teflon tape..It would was OK then leak later but after digging around in all those goody bags that I've been collecting from Fasttech I found some (3) 12 x 1.5 mm o-rings and I am quite confident that this is the illusive size for the FT type A clones and probably others that have this problem. I'll post again on if they stay leak free but I'm pretty sure that I got it nailed on the size and fixed.
I use an extremely high tech tool for removing and sometimes installing o-rings, a safety pin
(the pin never (shouldn't) pierces the o-ring, you carefully get the point under it and out and pry it off, something like a shoe horn backwards.
Geee they censored a word, must have been a bad word (p- r- i c- k )
Thanks for that great information. Like you, I have assortment of o-rings I've stocked up along the way. But, of course, none of them have the size on them.
The #16 is causing the problem, so did you just look for an o-ring and "eye-balled" a replacement which was slightly thicker in diameter? Or, is there some way of measuring them, being so thin I'd think you'd need a micrometer tool of some sort.
Then again, another poster mentioned that within the bag which comes along with Version A, is the perfect size o-ring.
I don't know....
I have the Tobeco leaking from oring #16 and have put some dental floss underneath the oring and its stopped most the leaking. You can see the sizes included in a kit for the Authentic. Vaperev Shop - Kayfun V4 Spare Kit 1 Large - Kayfun V4 Accessories - SvoëMesto - Rebuildables

Wow! I didn't even know that existed. Perfect. Just need to find out from them if they ship to South Korea.
Many thanks for that link....
The o-ring in the FT goody bag for FT type A is 10 x 1.5 mm, the original SM one is 11 x 1.5 mm. I'm using 12 1.5 mm with total success so far, I've refilled one of them once and went out to Seafood City, the only thing that leaked was my wallet.
On measuring an unknown o-ring: one way it to compare to known sizes (for the cross section size). I measure ID similar to a ring sizer, a tapered shaft, in the case for this o-ring I slid it onto a Sharpie and used a caliper to measure the place on the Sharpie where the o-ring fit.
My calipers costs 99 cents, something around that.
Ohhhhhhh.... In that case I'll try to find a shop around here that sells them. It's not easy to find things in South Korea. That's why I do most, if not all, ordering online. I've seen calipers for measuring body fat, but not the smaller ones needed. Though I'll give it a try. Thanks.[/QUOTE![]()
I've been reading this thread and I'm totally confused by what I'm reading. Leaking and improper fitting orings. I've had no such problems.
I have one Tobeco K4 clone that I've been using about two weeks now with no issues at all. No leaking, nothing. My only complaint with the Tobeco clone is that other than an extra spring I was disappointed it came with no spare parts.
Now I also have 2 of this clone. Kayfun v4 Rebuildable Atomizer Clone. **IN STOCK**
I don't know who makes this clone but my opinion is that it seems perfect. Just a little better quality than the Tobeco with lots of extra parts.
Using these 3 clones at builds from 1.4 to 1.9 ohms with no issues. No leaking from any of them, the threading and juice controls work as they are supposed to work. Top filling is no problem on any of them as they all have flats spots on the fill cap threads, so I can assume that these other two clones are not Ephros.
One other thing is that when I bought my Provari P3 from the classies I also got a real K4 P3 adapter from the seller. It fits and works on these clones with no problems or issues. So I would say that these clones must be very close, if not, 1:1 copies. I don't have any originals to compare but they seem to work and behave exactly like the real thing I watched in P. Busardo's review. Watching his review showed me exactly how to use mine. I see no differences. I have used these on multiple devices. The only thing I haven't tried yet is doing a Ni200 coil build on any of them yet.

Thanks for that pic. I'll know what to look for.
