Got it from Sonic Vapes

Kayfun V4 Infinite Clone Atomizer – Subsonic Vapes

The description says that it comes with 3 poly tanks, but the smaller one is the same glass I have with the Tobeco and ehp versions. It's not fasttech cheap, but I didn't have to do anything but clean, build, fill, and vape.

I like the looks of that included bell cap tank, any ideas where to get one of these? There are lots of them for the V3 however not sure if any of them are compatible with the v4?

I was waiting to hear more about the HCigar version becoming available in the US. But I decided to search around for the Tobeco version and saw that it's available for $20 on ebay.

There are actually 9 sellers on ebay who are selling it for $23 or less. One of them is selling them for a nickel less than a $20 bill. Simply amazing. I'll buy the Tobeco today and a 316 version later down the road if it's worth it.

I'd love it if someone was able to research the economy of clones -- particularly of the Kayfun v4. This RBA looks to be extremely complex. How many hands touch this thing, excluding S&H and the middlemen?? $20?!?!?!? YES PLEASE!!

HCigar Kayfun V4 Atomizer RBA Clone

Vape Royalty has the HCigar version in stock. Have not seen any reviews on it yet. For me, I'm about K4ed weary. Think I'm just gonna enjoy what I have for a bit and concentrate on getting a dual battery box. :)

Nope, I use the glass in the v4's and the stainless in all my other kayfuns. Every juice I like is a tank cracker, so i don't pay attention to anything plastic. As far as compatibility, I don't have a clue.

If the tightness of #1 affects tightness of juice control you have a problem with how #8 is fitting to #3

(now don't be trying to shoot the messenger)

LOL!!! Not going to shoot the messenger, just going to contradict you a little. It was 1 to 10/11 (has anyone actually separated them? I sort of tried before stopping myself from trying too hard) more than 8 to 3. 9 in 3/8 certainly might have had some play in it if it was sitting prouder than it should(I cannot absolutely rule it out), but it was not an 8 to 3 thing. If 8 did not fit into 3 properly then it would have to be either user error (in which case nothing would likely connect/sit right) or terrible machining.

Can I just say that I am glad it is not a 5/8 thing as that would leave me confused and thinking we were talking about what gauge my ears are stretched to.

My Tobeco also leaked, put 3 wraps of dental floss under o-ring 16 which has fixed for now and ordered some new o-rings to replace the existing one that leaks

I've ordered some orings but I'd like to try the floss trick.

Is there a particular technique to wrap it cleanly and have it stay in place while you put back on the oring over top?

I shall give this another try, if drawing up 10 & 11 against 9 makes any difference it's because 9 isn't tightened all the way. Do this, assemble 9 into 3 with no other parts, take note of why it stops where it does, this should be the same when 3 - 9 are assembled. If # 9 is already tight it can't be made tighter by 1, 10 and 11, because it's already tight. Now if #9 stops tightening because it drew parts 3,5 & 8 together before # 9's shoulder butted against #3 then it will have some affect.

Edit: I'm looking at this as it's a non EHPro, so if it is well I'm to understand that they don't come apart so readily.

On another note, I picked up my K4 clone and it had some slight leakage around the air holes but not much. I was just going to post that it's been 3 full days with no leaks after installing 12 x 1.5 mm o-rings on my 2 FT clones. Here's the kicker, it was my Tobeco clone, 3 days now with not a sign of leakage on the 2 FT ones.
I have no more 12 x 1.5's but by Friday I'll have many.

So I know pretty much everybody has received their Tobecos from Custom Mod Creations but being in Canada makes the journey a bit longer. I am thinking the USPS is taking my clone for a ride:

I am thinking there is some sort of glitch in their tracking software or they should buy a map:)

If anybody in Canada is in need Canvape has the Tobeco in SS for $25 plus shipping.

Just got my tobeco clone today. Great finish, smooth threads. No complaints.

So far really liking it. Airflow is better than previous kayfuns and flavor seems good so far.

Now to find the best coil for it!

The coil I'm using is 26 gauge kanthal, 10 wraps around a 7/64ths drill bit. (About 2.7 mm). Comes out to around 1.3 ohms. Japanese cotton wick and 18 watts.

Thanks! I'll try that.

I'm currently using a 1.6 ohm spaced coil made from 30 gauge. Same thing I run in my Kayfun Light. Not really doing much for me though. Flavor seems muted.

Just wondering why people like better air flow in KayFun? More air less hit. I usually use half closed if not more otherwise it's just a lot of smoke and no hit. I smoke analogs and Kayfun and need smoke and hit at the same time :) Kayfun 4 feels way to much air flow for me. Anyhow, anybody know a good site to buy cheap thinner tips for Kayfun4? I really hate the design of the tip with lines engraved because most of the bacteria/dirt will store. I really enjoy a plain simple tip from KayFun 3.1.

Just rebuild with a 1.2 ohm coil made with 29 gauge. Much better so far.

Can I say how much I like that I can get at the deck without draining this thing!

Well, for me, I want to be able to run a nickel build on there for my DNA40 mod. This makes a very low ohm coil that will need 20+ watts of power. Which, for me, is better with more airflow.

I got the matte tobeco this evening. Honestly it's unbelievable to me that something this well made can be had for 27 dollars. Pretty crazy. Threads are good. No leaking. Feeding nicely after I removed the deck to adjust the wicking. Wicking technique needs to be slightly adjusted coming from a KFL+. The matte looks slick as heck on my vapor flask.

I managed to get the Fasttech 'A' version working flawlessly by using parts from my 'mystery' version.

I used parts 10 and 11 because the Delrin isn't as tall, the smaller white Teflon O ring because it was slightly thicker, I used the no.16 O ring for the same reason and the tank lock nut (33) because it has flats and is easier to lock.

24 hours later and no gurgles or leaks - it's obviously cost a little more but I've saved $135 on the price of the original so I'm happy, I enjoy tinkering too so it's been fun.
