I've been switching between the FC version on my Cloupor Mini and the Tobeco silver on my DNA30 for the last week or 2. I missed my rDNA40 w/black tobeco so I picked it up to use and it was flooded. Ugh. So I cleaned it up and threw in a 12 x 1.5mm o-ring and it's been doing great for the last 3 hrs. I'll have to keep an eye on it now. So my silver Tobeco is the only one that has been flawless (knock on wood). In reality, none have been horrible and easily fixed for a great vape. I LOVE the ease of filling from the top and my investment of 15 needle tops just make filling the tank slow so I reverted back to the plastic tips on most of my bottles.

Lemo, maybe not since the Kanger Subtank mini is around. Here's the deck of the RBA head.

This was before I tried it, now that I've tried it I have to say that I agree with myself.
This one has the Peek insulator, some of the earlier ones do not. Not to be confused with the full sized Kanger Subtank RBA head either.

Does your Mini have the newest brown insulator?

If so where did you buy it?
    Thanks

I've been kicking the idea of whether to post this about all day and decided I might as well go ahead. Some may not agree but oh well, here goes:
None of this need apply if you have sensitivities to PG as about one in ten have some degree of a reaction to it.
Seems a lot of folks are trying to use thicker liquids than what is optimal for their atty. Seems a lot of folks think VG and high wattage are synonymous perhaps because VG is used in high wattage drippers. A well saturated wick/coil is the key to using high wattage. So in a tank like the K4 a thinner juice is going to do everything better than thicker slow wicking liquids.(unless modifications are made).
I do have other tanks that I modified for using thick liquid but they are cloud chasers with tanks.
Pretty much the bottom line here is if you can run high wattage with this type of tank with heavy VG you can run even higher wattage running heavy PG.
    Nothing against VG here either.

Not by any means trying to start a p'n contest.

I saw someone on ebay with a correction kit to the tobecco clone. Something about the air stem being wrong size for sub ohm. Any info on this.

Also just got mine and im new to building (done a few tugboats) any guides for k4 you can recommend me?

Ought to slide over to the SvoëMesto Kayfun V4 forum. They've been discussing just that since the darn thing came out. I am personally using 9 wraps of 28ga kanthal around a 2.25mm drill bit. Comes out around 1.5 ohms. Vaping at 14 watts.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Been awhile since I've visited these forums. I have been using a Ehpro KFL+ v2 for awhile now and love it but these v4's have caught my eye.

Everywhere I read advises the Tobeco is the best, this goes against everything I have learned about clones and I am scared to drop money on one lol.

I also read the Ehpro model has been upgraded to account for the flat spots on the air relief.

Any advise would be great. Trying to keep it under $50 and get the best quality 1:1 I can,

    Thanks everyone@

Tobeco's where on my sh...t list for a couple of years since they made that Ody clone, but my Tobeco K4 is the best made of the five clones that I bought. They can be had for around $20 on Ebay

Which 5 did you buy? don't sapose you have the upgraded ehpro model?

VapeNW.com also has the Tobeco V4 for $19.00 I'm on the east coast and ordered Tuesday received yesterday with the standard shipping. Love VapeNW... those guys rock! (not affiliated in any way)

I can attest to the Tobeco quality. I've had a TON of clones over the years and lately it's pretty hard to find a poorly made clone from the "major" clone manufacturers. I could pass this off for the authentic without a doubt.

So i've been reading through this thread in search of what replacement o-rings to stock up on as the Tobeco kit comes with no extras.

I've seen some various numbers and materials listed by users... i'm trying to use the SvoeMesto chart and their dimensions but i'm wondering what you Tobeco users find fits the best in our clones.

What's the proper material as well. I've used Buna-N70 (or was it 90) and silicone in the past.

Ring's im most interested in and sizes i've seen here are...

    #6: 17x1
    #16: 11x1.5 or 12x1.5 (seen both)
    #18: 10x1.5 or 11x1.5 (seen both)

    What's your recommendation Tobeco users?

Also... i just noticed... i think i'm missing #36!? or does that ring sit recessed into piece #38?

The ones that might need to vary is #16, use 11 x 1.5 mm or 12 x 1.5 mm, for the rest you can use the chart.
36 sits in the bottom end of 38 and seals the chimney with 38
