Ugghhh.. I thought I had it.

I am now able to spin the air ring / flow control.

I am following PBusardo's video to the T. I unscrew the air ring all the way to left then unscrew the top and fill. Then reverse screw the top back on and then tighten the flow control but as soon as I do that it leaks out of the air holes again.

Thanks for the video btw but what am I doing wrong now?

Is it possible to absorb nicotine from handling the juice? I feel really sick now.

You are now doing it correctly.
I think to myself to fill:
start: "unscrew JC in the direction like I was taking it off the mod, then top the same way (counterclockwise)"
finish: "screw top in the direction like I was putting it back on the mod, then JC the same way (clockwise)"

Now you need to clean up the flooded juice in chamber that holds the spring, section A to get it to quit leaking.

This is the section to clean.
Rinse it out under hot water.

Well guys, ive been happily using my Hcigar version for the past few days with Zero issues at all, no leaking, no dry hits, no sticking JC its near perfect in the way it works, obviously i dont have an original to directly compare but just today i took delivery of a set of the original PTFE rings from svoemesto, these are soft and bendy compared to the clones, they are a tighter fit and furthermore these original rings fit 100% in MY Hcigar, the JC is perfect, tightens up and doesnt bind and is alot smoother, i cant confirm this is for all hcigars but mine they fit.

Also while i was at it, i stuck all the original kayfun4 orings, deck screws onto it with no issue, also stuck in the new uprated Gold Plated spring from svoemesto has made it stable as a rock with the Ohms, open or closed or even half way.

I still want to confirm this with someone, if you remove the build deck section completely, leaving the 510 and JC ring attached and screwed together, can you grab the ring and move it side to side slightly <--> <--> <-->, not up and down, but sideways, its like a nats whisker and once the build deck is in it never does it.

Overall its taken 2 Kayfun 4 Clones, one at £20 the other £34, plus assorted Original Svoemesto parts £15, still only comes out to £69 which is half the price of a real one and it bloody works (now it does lol) Oh and the Hcigar version has the added bonus of being logoless, which in my eyes is a big plus.

Yup.
All 3 of my tobecos do this. Like u say, a nats whisker. Not as large as a fly's eyelash though. :)

If you haven't found any try here Buna-N 70 : O-Rings - The O-Ring Store, We make getting O-Rings easy! they have 11.5mm and 12mm. There is also different thicknesses. 1.6mm etc.

I got mine from oringsandmore.com. I ordered 10 x 1.5mm, 11 x 1.5mm, 12 x 1.5mm, 12.1 x 1.6mm. 12.1 x 1.6mm is way too big and won't fit. I've been using 12 x 1.5mm and they're perfect for my FT, FC and 2 Tobeco clones. I also added 17 x 1mm (tanks) and 5 x 1.5mm (drip tips). Shipping is very reasonable ($3) and you get them within a week.

So my FT V4 Black infinite Clone showed up today :) By far the best one yet :) the Fit and Finnish, the threads are all way better than the FT Version A or My Tobeco
It was nice and clean and I have to mention the threading again really nice and smooth :) Not Bad for 27.77 :)
All 3 of my other one's are performing great so far no leaks no problems :) IMO Best RTA on the market Now :)

Thank YOU :D

I will order mine when the Chinese new year dust settles!

Since you are able to do a comparison between the two, how about taking a look at the various juice feed holes and such and see if you might see what the differences are that caused the dry hits? I assume that your used the same ratio PG/VG in both.

Yep, if it isn't broken don't fix it. When I get one that's producing I don't care what it looks like it's not coming out of the tank.
Strangely, haven't had 1 coil that didn't perform. Even the ugly ones, said man, that needs recoiling ..... Wicked it up & it flew. Had bad wicking jobs, too little/short/too long/too much .... But coils seem to be a breeze on these v4s.

That said, you know my next coil will be a total flop :)

Had a little incident today , clone arrived last week the base part juice cut-off area has been loose since arrival.
However awesome vape I'm a noob its the first KayFun for me but woah just awesome ..
Can't wait until the kit arrives to give her more draw...

Anyway I had the entire unit come completely off the juice control section earlier today.

I figured great this is an opportunity to tighten all that stuff up ..

well the schematic as described in the authentic thread is misleading and I re-assembled her with the derlin protected screw upside down and started freaking out since she was at a constant .02 ohm with No coil.. lol

So after reading and reading for the solution here in the authentic section ( thanks guys ) shes running like a racehorse now and is all solidified up working like an original authentic precision work of art...

Man I love this RTA....

Bought a $35 BLUE KayFun V4 off of Ebay recently..( arrived Today) .built a 1.2 Ohm wasted some juice basically because of the crappy threading of the unit.... plastic tank portion is questionable but overall nice clone assuredly not 1:1 but,, does your local vape shop have an authentic on hand to compare a clone against...? Flavor @ 1.2 Ohm is nice. Looking forward to how well the add on stem and protector will fit...

I take it back the threading is very very nice !!!!

This might be the issue with my HCigar K4 as I loosened the air flow screw and it only leaks when sideways.
I thought I just has a grace period of a few days wehre it was perfect before the oring sealing the deck wore down and started letting juice in (killing my faith in the k4 being pocket friendly)

Has anyone has solved leaking when placed on its side?

My blue ( apparently Blue is HCigar I dunno for sure ebay said something different) has NO issues when laying the unit sideways
if the juice control is set to turn off the juice flow -- just sayin
