The blue looks awesome. I might have to add a fourth v4 to my collection.

I cant believe how solid it feels once taken apart and correctly re assembled.. She needs the add on kit for air flow
maybe a dremmel attack like some have mentioned but even as is bone stock its sooo nice !!!!!!
I hear ya a black one might find its way to my home this summer as well ....

You adjust the air screw? I've taken it out on 2 of mine ... No leaks or issues. None of mine leak on it side either, even upside down - feel very confident with it as a pocket rocket.

Since you are able to do a comparison between the two, how about taking a look at the various juice feed holes and such and see if you might see what the differences are that caused the dry hits? I assume that your used the same ratio PG/VG in both.

Yea that was the first thing i did, the juice holes in the build deck in my other clone (ijoye or something) are not straight down cut, they are at an angle, so they dont cut a channel into the metal like on an original and my new hcigar clone (hope that makes sense, looking at the gap the holes cut into the face leaving a kayfun lite type channel) That is the only difference between the 2 and one that obviously makes a big difference.

Are the holes in the build deck the same diameter?

Strangely, haven't had 1 coil that didn't perform. Even the ugly ones, said man, that needs recoiling ..... Wicked it up & it flew. Had bad wicking jobs, too little/short/too long/too much .... But coils seem to be a breeze on these v4s.

That said, you know my next coil will be a total flop :)
Was trying to build a larger contact coil yesterday, about 2.8mm. Everytime I fired it to check for proper heating, etc. It would pop the leads. No idea why? Wrapped and mounted 3 before I gave up and went back to the smaller ones I normally do. Who knows. Plain PFM (Pure F...ing Magic).

Sent while laying around watching the boob tube.

Is the top or side of your coil hitting part of the "bell" that screws down? I know that can be a risk with larger macro coils.

I have the tobeco, i prefer the lite better. I can't seem to get a build i'm happy with for the amount of airflow. My flavor is stellar on the lite's so....Am i chasing a dragon? i want enough vapor to airflow. I tried every build in this thread and others, 2.5 mm ID was no better or worse than others. Going bigger or going smaller doesn't help. I'm running currently a 2.5 ID, 28g, 7 wrap for 1.4 ohms. I just pulled out a 3mm 5 wrap 26g 1.2. I just cant seem to figure this one out....can someone help me trouble shoot please? never any dry hits or flooding so my wicking has been fine. Should i simply be running this at higher wattage? or should i try a 1.5 mm ID?

Try 28 gauge 3mm 1.4-1.6 ohm spaced coil... wrap a micro and pull it apart and space those coil wraps evenly (yes old school is becoming new school again)... wicked with the perfect amount of cotton (likely your issue or how the tails are placed inside the "juice wells") and crank up the wattage... the high resistance and wattage works nicely in the V4 in my experience. Lower than 1.4 is "meh" and better off in dual coil RTAs or ones with more juice flow.

Try a thinner wire. I use 30g Kanthal and I get great flavor and vapor. I use 3 pieces of silica wrapped 5 times evenly spaced. Tried 28g and found 30g to work better for me.

But there's this. just saying.
Best Sell Kayfun V4 For Wotofo A-mod Freakshow Rda Like Aqua V2 Atomizer - Buy Kayfun V4,Kayfun 4,Kayfun V4 Atomizer Product on Alibaba.com
Codevape is saying their's is Amod, probably what folks are referring to.

That is just a listing on alibaba trying to capitalize off the A-mod / wotofo brand, same thing codevape is doing. At one point codevape listed the product correctly on their ebay page as an iJoye, but had it listed incorrectly on their website, then some redneck on youtube called it A-mod, and they went with it, changed it to A-mod on ebay as well.

Until I see a kayfun4 clone in an a-mod box with an authenticity sticker that checks out on the a-mod site, I will continue to believe people are selling random clones trying to use the a-mod branding.
