I've been checking every day (actually I use package buddy on my phone). It showed up in Chicago 3/3 (11:49pm) which is odd since all my shipments usually arrives in NYC before being delivered to me in NJ.
Same weirdness here. What the hell was mine doing in Wisconsin before being delivered in Hampton, VA. Only thing I can think of is that we can really blame this one on the weather. Probably throwing packages at anything moving remotely in the right direction.

Sent while sitting on my busted ..... Stay off the ice if you can't skate. I can't and didn't.

Exact same here, with the difference I run 2 k4s with the air screw removed. Never leaks .....
Unless #9 loosens up, then it slightly weeps at the top of the JC. Been tightening it every 3 or 4 days when I rewick, have found it loose in all 3 of my Kayfuns each rewick.

I've read how others turn the JC when they pocket it .... Couldn't think of doing it with mine. All 3 are wobbly with the JC closed, with leaking just above it. Each refill I need to wipe the leak, not much, but it's there. Truly believe that even though we all have the same atomizer perhaps even same mfg, they're all slightly different!

Hmmm,,,,
Mine JUST starting doing that - wobbly with JC closed and a tiny weep just above it when opening it back up.
Tobecco, several weeks old. Didn't do it until yesterday.
Need to have a closer look.
Thought I saw an idea for fix somewhere way back in the thread. ?

That's probably just the USPS for ya! A couple weeks ago I ordered 2 Samsung 25rs from Illumination Supply, who are in San Jose, CA about 5-6 hours north of me. I chose the cheaper first class shipping thinking it was a no brainer. Took over a week to get em because they left San Jose and went straight to Texas before coming back to California! Should've been a two day trip tops if they could actually get it right!

Same thing happened with the Tobeco that came from Artemus when it finally shipped. Went from them all the way east to NY then back to Cali..

Ok. It's screw A9 that had come a little loose. I tightened it down, no wobble.
Will have to see if fixes the weep over some time.
Edit: and fixes leak above JC!

Woohoo blue Tobeco arrived from Kanvape today. Went with the free first class shipping so I was expecting it to go from Kansas to New York and Florida before it got here in California (like my Illumination Supply order which is in the same state as me). Ordered it late Tuesday night, not bad! Man that blue is rad may have to get the blue Sigelei mini to go with it. :) This is the first of my 3 Tobecos that smells like oil. Not bad like a tool from Harbor Freight though. Off to the wash with her!!

I love my SS Tobeco and I'm wavering on getting the black or blue; leaning towards the latter. Would you mind posting some vivid pics of your Blue. Thanks.

Robbot KF V4 clone, one piece top cap/drip tip combo from Avid Vapor, unknown clone P3 base. I really like this top cap, shortens the height and very easy to remove for top filling. It doesn't have the notches or whatever they are called on the original top nut to relieve pressure but i simply just turn it upside down once I reach the o-ring and finish screwing it it on. No leaks so far.

Hey, I found my tween brother! Hi brother!

Try this:

WOW! I was so taken with this build that I had to show my wife. She watched the whole build part and then when the camera went "back up" and showed the dude, she said something like "he's not my type, at all". Type or not, this is a really sensible build!

Isn't what causes "popcorn" lung?

Diacetyl is a diketone. Meaning it has a specific molecular shape with a double bonded oxygen hanging off both tails of the molecule. It's the original apparent cause of some factory deaths, and especially workers in popcorn plants needing lung transplants. The stuff is naturally present in butter and other foods. But it's used in high concentrations in e.g. microwave popcorn. It's fine to eat. Not to inhale.

The factory owners started using alternative compounds like Acetylpropionyl, because it also tastes buttery. Also a diketone chemically. So NIH toxicology labs ran tests on rodents and confirmed that above 150 ppm both caused irreversible damage to the fine bronchioles, scarring them. So OSHA published requirements and guidelines. At least they covered diacetyl, and explained the issues. Ya can't breathe that stuff.

But the food flavoring makers aren't selling food flavoring specifically to be inhaled, are they?

There are a lot of potential buttery creamy flavoring molecules that aren't explicitly listed by OSHA, but are also diketones, and what do you think, are they used in those rich-tasting custardy juices? How about Acetoin, whose molecule looks a lot like Diacetyl's?

The most recent testing was on Acetoin, which also tastes kind of buttery, and is not a diketone, it has a single ketone oxygen. Turns out tests on rodents show no bronchiole damage from Acetoin. So there's at least one buttery flavoring that seems safe.

You think the juice blenders are going to get into learning complex chemistry and toxicology when all they have to do is pack their vaping liquid with sweeteners and flavoring, and cash the payments? Forgive me gentlemen, but I think the ONLY sensible thing is to blend our own, and take it easy on the amounts of ANY flavoring. Sorry, end of rant.

Still not finished with that batch, pulled out the GP Heron clone and have been vaping it ever since after a bit of Dremeling on it.

That's the Mad Hatter's Tea Party approach. Effective! Leave the smoking ruins for the approaching barbarian horde and just move on.

Looking good. I've been using this KF V4/P3 combo for about 2 weeks now and really like it. Is that an authentic P3 connection base? Mine is a clone, i have no idea who makes it and have not seen it sold anywhere.

Yes, unfortunately it is $34.00 authentic connector. I paid more for it then I paid for ToBeCo K4 clone.

3rd batch, a few more to clean yet. These are the ones that I'm not using. No K4's were harmed in this process, yet anyways,

Wow that's a lot of RBAs. I had piles of old cartos and broken atties. But the KF V4 strikes me as better than any others i might buy so why bother?

I wonder about your collection, no offense intended. Since they're rebuild able you set em aside instead of rewicking, as I recall? But the coils stay?

Core question: Are you buying more at this time? If the V4 were around would you have bought the others?

- the disturbing thought du jour is you may not have enough KF V4s.

BTW I think your choice of colors is very tasteful.

^^^^ the real work comes with the next stage. There are some coils that are going to stay if possible. Note (if possible) that every one of these except the Lemo and the Gen's have pretty much the same 2 mm id contact coil.
You want to see my collection of used wicks/coils?
I have 4 K4's, I'm good.:)
