Try taking lighter hits and a little higher in watts and see what happens. Just don't go too high to fast, you don't want to burn the wick.
It can look that they are, but I can assure you that they aren't. I had made sure that the coils aren't even close of the air tube.
Already did that. Higher wattage didn't helped, and if I open more the airflow it kind useless to me, because it looses flavor and it's not comfortable for mtl
All my liquid are 50/50.
Already rewicked it with more cotton. Tomorrow at the end of the day I will give you news.

28ga, kanthol, 3mm coil 7 wraps, rayon or cotton, no air screw, no gurgle. 50/50 @ 8.5watts. Maybe try the larger diameter coil. Same resistance ballpark
Other than @ricks, an avid MTL vaper, I suspect most of us have removed the airflow screw entirely and as such, condensate doesn't accumulate in the pin but ends up lower down-hence no gurgle.
Perhaps try building the same as Ricks and see what you get. My only observation is that your coils with 8-10 wraps of ? gauge wire and redistricted air flow may be part of the issue.
Maybe experiment with 5-6 wraps of 28-32 awg gauge wire and see if it helps with less condensate.

In the one with red liquid, 7 wraps of 28awg @ 1,45ohm and the other 10 wraps of 26awg @ 1,20ohm. They have different build because I was experiencing if the build affects the gurgling.
@ricks do you use the airflow screw? Can you show me your build please?
My screws are in and in my KF4's. With the KF4's I used 30g kanthal with 6 wraps evenly spread out wrapped around 3 pieces of Ekowool. I'l try to get you a pic.
Yep ... another MTL vaper here. I have my air screws in, and set so it's a looser drawer than a KFL-Lite but 'not' a loose/open draw.
What "ID" is your coil? I use 3mm screwdriver to wrap mine, 7 coils. I wrap open or closed, works about the same. No gurgle. Been using rayon for over a month in my 4 active KF V4 builds with identical results. Hate to hear someone having trouble until they hit their sweet spot. Love my KF V4's.

I loved the flavor from the K4. What I couldn't deal with was the dew that seemed to form in and around the air holes no matter what I did. I went through lots of o-ring trials to see what would seal the tank and didn't really find anything that would allow pocket carry without dew forming.
I finally went back to the KF3 and found renewed satisfaction. The K4 just had too many parts that created seams with o-rings that could leak.
I do check back here from time to time to see if anyone has found the secret for K4 reliability and leak free operation. My favorite feature of the K4 was that I could turn it upside down and remove the base for wicking and dry burning without siphoning out the juice. That's a good feature. On the K3 I have to use a juice bottle to suck out the remaining juice before re-wicking.

I have plenty of various types of silica and certainly can do a good wrap by hand, perhaps I should re-visit it. It's something that I've been thinking about.

I agree with MikeE3. Trim (narrow) the tails of your wick. Make sure you are not covering up and blocking the juice channels. The juice channels need to not only allow juice to enter the chamber, but also allow air and excess juice to flow back into the tank.
Here they are:
The red one is the tobeco clone, the other one is from ehpro. Both build have cotton enough cover the base, they are always full of liquid. If I open them, take out the airflow screw and clean the center pin the gurgle disappear.. I did that yesterday, and after a full day (now) they both are gurgling..
Haha no worries. If anything I was seemingly the one on the offensive... Sorry!
