Still getting what seems to be a very wet vape. Have the juice flow at 1 turn on a 50/50 juice blend. Wicking this just like my K4 and K3M. Will try more wicking material and see if that helps. The Radius on boost seems to help as compared to my MVP Pro. The search continues...

Using more wicking material is a good direction to try.

Ordered some HHV 70VG 3mg juice particularly for the K5. Should get by until the MTL thingy is released. Can't do my 50/50 6-12mg usual juices in this one. It just makes me do lung hits.

So I decided to try a Clapton coil last night, got some pre-built coils that come out to .6 ohm...

Tried going on the outside for this one

Put some KGD in there

Add some Serendipity

Enjoy a great vape with some yummy coffee!

To tell you the truth, I don't notice much of a difference between the Clapton coil and my usual spaced N80 coil, except that the tanks gets a little hotter now, and I'm only running it around 22 W... so I'll probably stick to the basic and simple way I've been doing it.

A thingy, that makes the draw on the K5 tighter than the tightest setting now, which is pretty open for folks used to KFL or the Mini 3.

People's tendency when they have wicking problems is to use less. It's quite the contrary.

All tanks are different. For me it's a process of tweaking until I find what's best for me. When I got the Kayfun 4 I was using too much wick. Liking this tank better now.

Nothing seriously in particular ma'am ~ just another thing to coil with. A regular wire works just as good. Ribbon gives a little more surface area for heat transfer, thus vapor production out of it is 'supposed' to be higher than regular wires*.
