Okay, couldn't resist trying the Georgia Peach and decided to get a small bottle of Maple, Eh?.
Alright, now that you have ordered a few HHV NETs here are some instructions/tips. Most (not all) like HHV NETs with some age on them. Anywhere from two weeks to two months. You can try prior but keep in mind they tend to improve with age. When you receive your NETs, pull the cap and dripper off for one day. HHV uses alcohol in their extraction process so there is likely a trace of alcohol in your custom blended bottle. Give it a day to evaporate. BTW, of the four tobaccos you ordered, only Georgia Peach is a non-NET. Shake often as this helps the aging process. Lastly (and most importantly), many of HHV NETs are a bit off the beaten path. In other words, you can't identify what they taste like. As a result, your mind is always in seek mode trying to figure them out. It isn't until you surrender that the magic kicks in. This is very true with Dragon's Fire and Legend to an extent. There is nothing offensive about it but you don't immediately embrace it because you can't figure it out. So try vaping it at least some each day. After a few days the magic kicks in. In other words, be patient.

Legend looks like a bit of a reach for me, but will give it a try on your recommendation Bronze.
JW, you wont like all of them. Just not possible with any vendor. But they wont be offensive and I'm sure you will find at least one good one in there. Based on your choco preference I would have recommended a few others (Heavenly Army, Shadow, Temptation, Serendipity). But don't bury yourself with sampling. Try each one and give them a fair shot. There's no hurry. i recommended Legend and Dragon's Fire because they are the two most popular HHV NETs. Additionally, you said you liked a fruity note and a choco note. Legend and DF accomplish those preferences.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm well aware that picking juices is a bit of a crap shoot.

I tend to stick new juices in the back of the cupboard for quite awhile, having learned that pretty much any juice gets better with age.

I'm vaping some Halo Malibu atm that's at least Three years old. It's like fine wine. lol.

I very much appreciate the help.

I took your recommendations because, as you said,
it gives you an idea of what might be good for me down the road.

I'm not going to come back at you all huffy or anything.

Promise.

I know you wont. I've known you awhile now. It's not your style. :)

And you wont hurt my feelings if you don't like any of them. You simply cannot make people like things they don't like. Not possible. All you can go by is the past and I still have not met anyone who said HHV was awful.

I'll let you in on something. ProVape had sent me a handful of samples over the last several months (when I'd order gear). Well, I just let them sit around as I've done enough sampling for three lifetimes and I'm tired of it. But I went ahead and grabbed one and loaded it in a freshly cleaned and wicked dripper. I about vomited on the second inhale. I couldn't disassemble my dripper and get it soaking in hot soapy water quick enough. It took me till the next day to get that awful taste out of my mouth and hands. I couldn't vape anything till mid day the next day. I threw out every sample they sent me (all unopened except for the one I tried). No way I was going to ever go through that again. :D

I usually sample with a 306 dripping atty.

If it doesn't go well, no great loss that way.

One of the things I want to do over the next Year is to get around and try some juices I might not have tried otherwise, while they are still available. This is the Golden Age. We won't see its like again.

I was just thinking the same thing since the Deeming came out. This really is the golden age of vaping. If we're legally allowed to vape going forward it still wont be the same as it is today in terms of cost, quaintness of the community, and the excitement of discovering new flavors and new gear. It feels like we will have a fence line put around us before too much longer.

Nice to see you here @jwbnyc! I'm interested to hear how you like HHV, especially Double Trouble. I didn't expect to love Mango Blackberry flavor, but I do! Another to add to your list since you like Malibu is White Lie. Tasty combo for anyone who likes coconut. I find White Lie refreshing. And Bronze is right about Dragon's Fire. Took awhile for the magic to kick in for me on that one, but it is delicious.

@Bronze, a couple of questions, if I may. First, I thought I read that HHV will add extra flavor on request. Do you get extra flavor? Are their juices "mild" in flavor? Second, I vape only one tobacco+ flavor, Bounty Hunter by NLV. It's got chocolate and caramel notes with just a bit of tobacco. The tobacco is definitely not forward. I lean towards sweeter, dessert vapes. Can you suggest a tobacco vape from HHV? TIA!

I'd be delighted if others would chime in, as well!

Yes, HHV will add an extra flavor shot if you request it in the notes section on your order sheet. I personally notice no difference when adding an extra flavor shot. Others do. And what we determined was that I am a 70/30 and they are 100% VG. So I can see if you're a high VG vaper that you might prefer an extra flavor shot. It should be said though that HHV already adds more flavor to the higher the VG content. Other vendors may do the same thing. I personally never found any of the HHV flavors to be too mild. I think they are about right. If a flavor is too strong it can get old quick. If too light it's boring. I always admired how Heather seems to always get it right.

As for recommendations based on your preferences, here they are...

Dragons' Fire
Heavenly Tobacco (RY4)
Heavenly Army (creamy base w/graham top note)
Shadow (creamy base w/vanilla top note)
Temptation (think Sno Caps)

The tobacco is not forward on these either.

I have 300ml in my fridge atm, and if I find out that it can survive indefinitely in a freezer......
I placed a bottle in the freezer (Dragon's Fire) and forgot about it. Just over a year later, I took it out and treated it like I would a 'fresh from the mail' bottle. There was no difference in look to a fresh bottle or taste. The aging process did not start until I took the cap off. I always take the cap off a fresh bottle and leave it off for at least a day (or till I remember to put the cap back on  )

I should mention that I do store my unopened bottles in my refrigerator. The only one that sits on my desk is the current one that I am using. When I start getting low on the current one, I take one out of the fridge and cap off, set it up high where there is no chance of knocking it over or anything getting into it.

I now have 3 - 100ml bottles of DF in the freezer. Each order will get an extra bottle of DF and that will be put in the freezer.

I will be testing one of those freezer bottles in 2 years.
