Grab the P3 pin with a pair of needle nose pliers and wiggle it up.
Maybe replace the o ring as well.
Yep, that's what I did 5 mins after I posted

An important lesson to be learned from this video...
Can Y'all guess what it is?
What is the time mark? I can't watch 25 minutes of foreign language.![]()
Exactly! But sadly, the M2L kit is even more critical than the KM3 insulator. At least we can use our KM3s with the flawed insulator. Can't say the same for the K5. And I find tape and other jury rigged means to restrict airflow cheesy at best. It's not a solution. Svoemesto needs to get off the dime and quick. They are not doing their image any favors. It's bad enough they cannot keep up with demand (ever hear of subcontracting?). It just invites alternative sourcing. But then they cannot keep their current customers happy by supporting their current products.' I love Svoemesto to be sure but they have some real opportunity for improvement.Amen @Bronze. Same deal with the insulators for the KM3. Sloppy.
My Guess: Lube the orings? It starts at 12:15 and goes on for a minute or two.

While I agree that existing customers should have been given priority for this accessory, there are many, like me, who do not consider this a defect and who are very happy with the air flow for MTL. "Come to expect"? I'm a former KFL user, and while I loved my KFLs, I always would have preferred an easier draw. Anyone who read or viewed the early reviews pretty much knew what to expect. I checked out the reviews that described the more open draw, and knew I would like that. If you hate cilantro, as I do, and you order a dish that's clearly described as containing cilantro, it's a bit of a stretch to carp after you barf. They sold K5's that they know (and have identified as such) as having an issue with the air flow. More specifically, it was not providing a restricted air flow that resembled what past Kayfun customers have come to expect. I find it disappointing that they have dragged their feet in making these M2L kits abundantly available for those of us who have purchased the K5 and are unable to use them as designed. They have known of this issue for many weeks now. It's bad enough we have to pay for them so the least they could do is give us priority.
Getting this off my chest because it appears Svoemesto's customer service abilities lag far behind their engineering abilities. Disappointed.
Sorry, but there were also some who said the K5 would deliver a draw similar to the KFLs...including Svoemesto themselves. They advertised the lowest airflow setting on the K5 was equivalent to the KFL. It is not! Personally, I think it is great that SM opened the airflow on the K5 because it will bring in a whole lot more customers. But they did that by sacrificing their hardcore base who have come to expect a tighter draw option. So my point stands. They advertised one thing, delivered another and now they have gone into hiding. These are undeniable facts. While I agree that existing customers should have been given priority for this accessory, there are many, like me, who do not consider this a defect and who are very happy with the air flow for MTL. Raitis, I forgave SM too given the pressure they were under to release the K5. However, they have had plenty of time to make these M2L kits available in ample quantities. They haven't done that. The mtl kit rocks.
SM had to release before May 20th. I understand their decision. The K5 appeared out of nowhere..

Good points all, but to be fair, those of you who purchased after viewing reviews, such as Busardo, were forewarned and knew what to expect, though you no doubt also expected the promised MTL kit would be more quickly and readily available, especially to existing customers, although this would be difficult for them since they don't have a warranty registration database.Sorry, but there were also some who said the K5 would deliver a draw similar to the KFLs...including Svoemesto themselves. Just ordered a 2nd K5 from MTMStore! No more vaping hardware for me for quite a while!
Well, you are somewhat correct. But honestly, the airflow problem was even worse than what I expected. By quite a bit. I have a tolerance for a looser draw but this thing was way beyond my tolerance. I did not expect that even based on what Busardo and others said. And yes as you allude, I also figured if the airflow didn't make me entirely happy that Svoemesto would have their solution available in short order. Outside of CdV getting one small order that sold out as fast as they could peel them from their shelves, these M2L kits cannot be had. Based on my background in machining, how many K5's they made, and the approximate % of people who would require that M2L kit my educated guess is they could make enough M2L kits in less than a day to solve the problem.Good points all, but to be fair, those of you who purchased after viewing reviews, such as Busardo, were forewarned and knew what to expect, though you no doubt also expected the promised MTL kit would be more quickly and readily available, especially to existing customers, although this would be difficult for them since they don't have a warranty registration database.
The likelihood of disappointment increases proportionally with the amount of wishful thinking (expectations) that informs our decision. I would no doubt feel exactly as you do were I in your shoes, but sometimes in comes down to "pay your money and take your chances". Some wise people have said "Keep your acceptance high and your expectations low". More often than not expectation = resentment.the airflow problem was even worse than what I expected.
One person's problem is another's blessing! For me it's the airflow blessing- love it!the airflow problem
I was very happy to see SM open up that Kayfun airflow. I don't think there has been any bigger complaint about Kayfuns than the lack of airflow. It really opens up the K5 to a lot more customers. One person's problem is another's blessing! For me it's the airflow blessing- love it!
