I never heard of VapinArt. Anybody had experience with them, are they legit? Just weird that they got the tank while other places haven't.

Vapinart is high end, and they've been around for quite awhile. Definitely legit. I've bought a lot from them over the years.

Thoughts so far...

I absolutely love the vape, no question. I run it wide open for that perfect very restricted lung hit I love so much. Flavor is off the charts and on par with my favorite, the dvarw mtl. I like refilling by removing the tank - same as my dvarw. I much prefer this to juice flow control and top fill systems.

Build deck and wicking is a bit more fiddly than the dvarw but not really an issue. My only real negative I've found is that plastic afc screw. It leaks. And since it dumps juice/condensation directly into your mod that is no bueno. I haven't noticed any gurgling or leaking out the airflow so I assumed my build and wicking were good until I swapped my battery. Found a tiny amount of moisture on the positive terminal the on my second battery swap. Third time there was more. I've pulled that pin and replaced with a spare and have several more I can continue swapping if the problem persists. I'm not above even the idea of adding some thread lock or more effective plug, but I'd prever to avoid that in favor of a cleaner solution, preferably from SM.

I'll continue experimenting with my wicking as well to find the sweet spot, but the design of this airflow makes me nervous. It depends entirely on a tiny piece of threaded plastic to protect your mod from getting wet and that is a poor design choice imo. I would like to see a fix for this - even if I have to purchase it separately, as I do love the atty otherwise. As long as it is more effective and reassuring than a tiny piece of plastic. In fact I'd love to see a deck replacement with no afc pin at all (solid 510) and just run it wide open as that is how I prefer it.

Installed the reduced center pin this morning and after a a little fine tuning the KF19 is perfectly dialed in. After one tank I can say that it is vaping just as well as my beloved Dvarws.

VapinArt is one of the oldest vendors I know of.

They cater to the high-end crowd, as you’ll see by their website.

They tend to be on the pricy side, seeing as some vendors manage to sell things below even the manufacturer price.

But they often times have the goods, and even at MSRP, you can’t really go wrong if they’ve got what you need.

Plus, they’ve been present at every ECC (convention) I’ve been to!

Not a lot of online stores show up, but they stay involved in the community that way.

it's funny to me that I've been vaping for almost 6 years now, and have bought a decent amount of high-end stuff, but never run into VapinArt. But, I trust those of you replied. I'll check them out

I installed the dome extension in KF19 and I'm getting a bit of seepage from around the base. Haven't had any issues with the stock set up so wondering what I could be doing incorrectly. Thanks!

Is it constant seepage?

I know sometimes when I take the tank off, the residual juice slides down the threads a bit, and gets squeezed out when I reinstall the tank...wipe it off, no more comes out.

I'll check that. Thanks. Btw, I leave the oring on the chimney before installing the extension, right?

Try it without. Q took his off and said he had no problems. Can’t hurt to try. I wouldn’t think it would help but I don’t have an extension kit so it’s nothing but conjecture on my part.

Yep, I neither have the O-ring (between the extender) nor the plastic AFC screw. And I never had an/y leakage from this atty, from anywhere.

And with another, this nKFL is my daily beater. Two atties being non-stop used. 28AWG kanthal, 2.4mm ID, 1.2~1.4Ω, CelluCotton Rayon and firing between 16~18W.

Btw, recently have also put an el-cheapo squonker into the mix :D
