Hmmm, I guess I'm not jumping for joy here with this new release. At least not for now. So if I get this straight, we can get this new airflow gizmo for our 8 year old kayfun Lite +?? Or we can reconfigure our KFL19s with the more expensive kit that also includes the new airflow gizmo (along with other goodies)?? The main attraction is the new airflow gizmo??

On second thought, I'm not gonna pay $30 to ship me 1-1/2 V5 drip tips from the UK. I have a spare base so I need only one more base + two of the 9.5mm POM tips (hence, 1-1/2). I see Dicodes-USA sells them too but will probably cost the same. I have extra V5 tips but I'm getting greedy for more but not for $30. Money has a way of making one think straight in some cases.

Dicodes USA is a scam site, they are not in the USA. I recommend trying somewhere else. I don't know if these guys have what you want or not, they are more expensive generally, but they are in the USA.

Tend to agree Bronze. I’m very satisfied with my Lite 2019 with the XS pin. Struggling to see what this brings to the table other than sealing up the 510. I’ve never had leaks through the 510 so I don’t see what advantage I would get out of this new system.

The new Aerocontrollamathingy is fully compatible with the KF19’s...it’s a new deck, with a new airflow control pin.

I think one of the points of it, much like the Kayfun Prime “nozzle kit”, is the direction of airflow.

I would think, even with it dialed down to 0.8mm-ish range, the shape of the air stream coming under the coil is better...

But who knows? SVM has released a couple pieces of garbage in the past.......*cough*looking at the Kayfun 5*cough*

What's garbage about the K5?...or did you mean the K4?

The best thing that came from the V5 was the two-piece drip tip using the 9.5mm POM insert. I use that drip tip to this very day and have several of them to rotate. I think the biggest problem with the V5 was it was sold as all things to all people. They wanted to attract the burgeoning DTL crowd while keeping their MTL loyalists. Problem was the thing was not a MTL atty. They embarrassingly released that restrictor kit to remedy the problem and, indeed it did. It worked and the V5 vaped quite similarly to the KFLs. But it remained there was no reason to get the V5 if you were a MTL vaper because your Lites and V4s did the same thing. Although, it did have the top fill and external airflow control which many liked. That also made it the size of an M1A1 Abrams. So I suppose it had its usefulness to some. But I sure liked that drip tip.
