Authentic Svoemesto Kayfun Lite - 2019 & 2021 Version

Yeah, other than testing flavors with my mini V3s I am using the KFL19 (24mm extended mode) exclusively. I really like the Mini V3s and the Prime (great little attys) but the 5ml capacity of these 19s (without making them M1A1s) is a big plus. The supposed disadvantage of internal airflow and bottom fill are really not a disadvantage to me. In fact trading those features for allowing a more compact profile is actually the giant plus.

Being that I'm not a MTL'r I'm just stuck with the K5s, unfortunately.

Excuse my ignorance, but will that new Aerocontrollamathingy™ work in the 19? I'm still optimistic that I can do some modifications to make that system breath a little more, and that tank would fit my needs perfectly the way you have it set up.

That new thingy is for both the kayfun Lite Plus (circa 2013) and the K19 the way I understand it. Appears you need only the stem for the 2013 version. The 2019 comes with a stem and deck (and a loftier price tag).

hmmm? That's not the way I understand it. To me it sounds like just the new air tube thingy is for the new Kayfun Lite plus to restrict air flow. To me it doesn't imply it fits the original Kayfun Lite nor the original K19.

I don’t know Mike. As usual, SVM makes it clear as mud. The only Kayfun Lite Plus I know of came out in 2013. But I admit I can’t figure out SVM most of the time.

This is really confusing, it looks like to me that they are calling the Kayfun Lite 2019, a Kayfun lite plus. If you look at the accessories on that page it shows the 22mm & the 24mm sizes. The original KFL Plus was never available in a 24mm size, also why would they be updating a piece that has been off the market for around 4 to 5 years. I am betting that they made a mistake here. Also IMO the original KFL Plus air flow was perfect, it never needed to be any tighter, if anything people wanted it to be a looser draw.

And I read somewhere on one of those links that this new thingy was NOT for the original Kayfun Lite. To me, the original Kayfun Lite was the version BEFORE the Kayfun Lite Plus. The one that used that rounded over drip dip with no airflow adjustment. This one...

That one was my favorite for a long long time, I liked it better then the Plus's, I only have one of them. The drip tip was also my favorite tip of all time, everything after that was wide open, I liked the small bore that they had.

The original Kayfun Lite was the atty that blew the lid off vaping. It marked the end of those cheesy Vivi Nova, Stardust, and CE3 atties and marked the beginning of a totally new way to vape. And pretty much every atty after copied most or all of that Kayfun design.

I'm going to take a gamble and see if I can modify the new deck to suit my style. It almost certainly has a larger bore to make room for that new pin, so I can probably modify the pin some to gain a little more air

Beats me. There are airflow systems that range from wide open to zero so I'm failing to see why additional pins are needed. I'm curious to see how this plays out.

Just thought I'd share my thoughts on this. Hopefully if I'm misunderstanding something, someone can correct me.

The Kayfun Lite [plus] they're talking about is a whole new atomizer, basically a KFL20. I wish they would have gone with new names to avoid confusion, but here we are.

I watched a french language review and I think it's interesting. If I'm parsing everything correctly, this is what's going on:

"PLUS Upgrade for Kayfun [lite]" turns your existing KFL19 into KFL20. You pretty much just get the new build deck part that's very similar to what we already have, but it's different in that it takes the new aerokon center pins.

"MTL Pro Upgrade for Kayfun Lite [plus]" is just a smaller, addon center pin for the new [plus] system. Once you have the PLUS upgrade, you can use this with your older KFL19 if you want some insanely tight MTL.

Rather than buying new atomizers, Svoemesto has (kindly IMO) allowed people who have already invested in the KFL19's to upgrade to the newest version without having to buy whole new atomizers.

It appears the only other differences between the new [plus] and the older 19 are that the [plus] comes with a new dome tank w/ SS beauty ring, drip tip, and a regular window - all in a new plastic (called PSU) that should hold up like PEI - but is clear.

I'll eventually be getting one of the new decks + one of the new MTL pins for my existing 2019's (I'm already a fan of the XS 1.2mm MTL pin). If I like it, I'll probably get more to upgrade my backups as well. If they make those PSU windows available I might get some for my vapocalypse stash (sidenote: I'd really love a steel window section one day).

Blasphemer ... implying a K19 may be inferior. Do like the K19 vape ... then the K20+ may be different but the K19 won't be inferior to it, just different.
