Did you try stretching the spring Ret? Lay something across the flat to keep the spring from pulling out of the threads and then yank it up with a needle nose or something.
Nope , I hadn't thought of that . I'll give it a shot and see if it helps . I thought about putting a little Noalox on the spring and contacts but I'm not sure if that's a good idea with the Provari . Thanks Bronze !
I smear some no-ox on the threads. I wouldn't put it on contacts or springs though.
Yup , will do . Now if I can only stop pressing the endcap to fire it . If it's tube shaped muscle memory says it's a Stingray .![]()
I agree with Bronze, no-lox on the threads but not on the contacts.I know that feeling both from fishing and working offshore , I can't remember the reason for it but it's a weird sensation .
Being in the Navy is the same thing, whether going from shore duty to ship or ship duty to shore it always takes some time to get your sea legs/land legs working proper.
