it had the juice control and more air

Now I remember why I passed on the K4. I like less air and sooooo many parts to the thing.

Ease of fill and flavor. I personally don't mind refilling more often. They make it simple.

After viewing that video, it is VERY simple to refill. Might make it worth it. If it was like the KFL+ where you had to take the thing off the pv and then remove the screw, then Definitely Not a purchase for me.

Hmmmmm things to think about. You know me, I will research and wait till it has been out for a LONG time before getting on the band wagon ;)

Well, you could adjust the air on the K4 to any level you want. The K4 just had a higher end to it for those who liked more air. I'm like you, I like a tight draw so the extra air capacity on the K4 was a worthless feature for me. Valuable to others though. And yes, the smaller capacity of the KM3 is a turnoff to some. There are people who simply do not like refilling twice as often. SM took some of the sting out of it by making it super simple to refill. You also have the ability to remove your deck and rewick without having to empty your tank first (just turn the tank upside down and unscrew the base off). So another plus for the KM3. I just find the flavor improved enough to make it worth the increased fill intervals. To each their own. What's funny is I didn't really notice a big difference in flavor when I first got mine. I vaped on it for a month or so and then went back to my KFL and that's when I noticed the KM3 really does impart more flavor. I also noticed I have many more vapegasms with this KM3 and find I am refilling even more because I am vaping more. I also like the smaller profile.

That 'many parts' talk is actually an exaggeration. In our regular usage none of those 'parts' matter -- the # of parts touched in a K4 on a daily basis is similar to the KFLs and most other atties.

But yes, the KM3 is still a better vape, simpler to use, refill and maintain. Thus a better buy.

I guess he liked it. :laugh:

I can't disagree with him on the flavor. There was never a tank that was the equal of a dripper when it came to flavor IMO. But quite truthfully, the KM3 is right there. I mentioned to Robin earlier that when I first tried out my KM3 I didn't notice a big difference in flavor. Well, that's because I was pretty much using my Achilles drippers exclusively for the previous 8 months. I tried the KM3 and it didn't miss a beat. This KM3 does not take a back seat to my Achilles drippers. Not in the least. It wasn't until I went back to my KFLs that I realized what an improvement there was in tanks. I will never say a bad thing about KFLs because they just flipped the vape world on its head and for that the KFL will live in the vape gear hall of fame. But when speaking solely about flavor, the KM3 surpasses the KFL. Green gets it.

While the KM3 is being presented as a MTL tank, I have heard people say they are DTLing it and very satisfied. I don't DTL cuz it would kill me where I stood. I am (and have always been) a MTLer. So I can't speak to how good the KM3 is with DTL.
KM3 is perfect for DLH, a li'l restricted - but very plausible, IMHO. I am a DL vaper. And I love this atty.

I think not! The KFL lives in the highest esteem.

I'm glad there are some of us MTL'ers left. Im guessing we'll see a swing back in our direction eventually.

I think there is still a lot of us. These high power DTL vapers make a lot of ink but I think most vapers are still low power/MTL's.

I think it was a great review! Besides not mentioning that those restricted lung draw folks can also enjoy. Which is a pretty big crowd. Not all DTL folks like to draw in an entire lung full in 0.3 seconds. Haha

Just out of curiosity, do you draw in one draw at a time? Like for instance, I take in two long MTL draws (tight air) at a time.

::::Draw.........inhale. Draw..........inhale:::: (without breathing out).

Does that make sense? That's just what I've settled in on for quite a long time now. I don't know why/how. My 2nd draw might be a tad longer than the first. Maybe I got into that from the first being a "preheat" draw (before p3 boost) or something? I don't know.

Makes total sense. I don't think I could do that. 40+ years of smoking has charred my lungs up pretty good. I will take 2 or 3 big puffs and blow them out before finally inhaling the last puff. I like whiffing the vapor while I'm inhaling it for the full effect.
