Hi All,

The KM3's have been my daily drivers for the past several months. They have been the only Rtas I've used since I got them save for the K5 which I rarely travel around with. After a few months of daily use the KM3 began to give me some headaches with vacuum issues. These were a real drag and it was tough to identify what was causing them. I went through a hellish few weeks of trial and error and the cause for me in two different KM3's ended up being the oring on the center pin. Changing out that oring pretty much solved all the vacuum issues I was having. I figured I'd post all the sizes for whomever may need them.

These are all listed OD-ID-CS in mm.

1. Top and bottom that secure the tank section: 18 x 15 x 1.5
2. Bottom Deck: 12 x 10 x 1
3. Top Deck: 9 x 7 x 1
4. Top Cap Seal: 12 x 10 x 1
5. Center Pin: 10 x 7 x 1.5
6. Top Cap Chimney Seal: 8 x 5 x 1.5

Best, Bill

Hi Bill,

Where can I get those orings? Also, I have no experience with orings - how doI clean them when I initially buy them? Just soapy water?

By the way, have any of own a Kabuki? I am looking for a tank that I won't have to rebuilt. How close is the flavor to a Kayfun?

Hi d.g.

I usually use the" oring store"or "Orings and more". Ebay or Amazon occasionally. I try to get them from within the US when possible. The orings from the 2 stores mentioned have always arrived clean for me. No smell or residue. I've gotten some from overseas: Fasttech, etc that I did clean with ivory soap and water.

I have no experience with that kabuki tank though I do own a nautilus and a triton v1 tank. I believe the kabuki uses nautilus bcc coils also. I personally much prefer the rebuildable Rtas and drippers to prebuilt coil tanks.I've found the km3s and k5s to be the tops as far as flavor and hassle free, consistent performance. Coils in these rtas for me last anywhere from 3wks to 1.5 mos depending. Also very forgiving build wise compared to others rtas I've used.

You know all this time I thought 18mg was 1.8 percent, not 18 percent. I always thought that in a 30ml bottle of juice at 18mg, only 1.8 percent was nicotine (100mg nic). So yesterday when I did my calculations, I came up with only about 630 mls of nic I needed not 6300. You can say I was off by a little bit...[emoji16]

Apologies for quoting such an old post. If this has been covered already, please ignore. I'm currently researching the miniv3, after picking up a kf5, so I'm slogging through this whole thread like the last one.

100mg nic is a 10% nicotine solution. I think the math went wrong here when you were thinking in MG of nic, as opposed to ML of 10% nicotine base. I vape UFNB about 95% of the time. I make mine to a 12mg strength also called 1.2% nicotine solution. I vape about 250ml of juice every 2 months. To make 250ml of 1.2%, I use 30ml of 100mg /10% nicotine. For 2 months. So, in one month, I use 15ml of 100mg/10% nic. 1000ml ÷ 15 = 66.6 months. 66.6 ÷ 12 = 5.5 years. 1liter of 100mg nic therefore should last about 5.5 years at my current level of consumption.

Hope this helps if no one else got to you first.

Hey everyone!

Quick question. I'm traveling to Jamaica next month.....am I correct in assuming that if I turn off juice flow control, I won't have to turn mini upside during flight? I used to do that with kfl+'s and it was a pain!

You're correct. Shutting off the JC will not allow e-liquid to enter the chamber and thus altitude variations will not cause it to leak.

Way to go Dude! :)
Thank you my good sir, and that makes me think you too relate it the way I do. Times have changed, today 'dude' is just a common word, but not so during our times. Till date I have never addressed anyone as dude.
