As long as you're vaping on a regulated mod, why are you aiming for specific ohms?
It doesn't matter; the mass of wire to be heated is what matters.
And for this tank, imho, a 24g 10 wrap build is waaaay too much material and hence heat and hence lack of taste.

Go for a comfy 26-28g 5-7wrap build.

Edit: I'm sure he meant 7.5-8 Watts. No way to get to 7-8 Ohms, and no reason to do so

Ok thank u for the tips. I will try it out later today. 2.8 is difficult to clamp down though.

Do 7 wraps of 28awg, 2mm I'D. Should give you 1.3/4ohms. I keep my watts at at 17w, biggest airflow setting.

Ha! Yes, that'd be quite a coil! Actually, I meant to say it usually comes out to around .7 to .85 ohm.

How many Ohms are ur coils in the lower wattage. I'm really struggling to even get above 1 Ohm. I'm aiming at 1.8 Ohms. But at the moment I didnt even come close. I'm using 2,8 and 2,4 gauge wire. Yesterday i did like 10 wraps or something with the 2.4 gauge wire and it got me 1.1 ohms. I only get a hint of flavor compared to the nautilus 2 tank which i was using before. Also dont like the warmer vape its giving me now.

Starting to come to grips with the whole TC thing. I'm in waiting on my 430 to land. The 316 fluctuates to much...
When it comes, i'm going down to 2.5mm to. Less cotton to work with....

Couldn't agree more. I'm going to play around with 2.5 and 2.0 to see where the best flavour lies.
*edit* I said the last part wrong. The flavour should be the same. Less cotton is just easier to work with. It don't need that much cotton....

@Thunderthud54 ... did you get a shipping notice or the Prime itself yet. I too ordered Monday morning and this morning my order status was still marked as "processing". I contacted OV and they told me I should have paid attention to the note above the 'In Stock' when ordering that they are not getting them 'till the 20th of this month. I was told I can wait or get a refund. I chose to wait.

But dang ... the email explicitly said they were in stock and I don't recall seeing that message when I placed my order. It is what it is ... so the wait is on. Just curious how you made out.

Hey, Bronze- wondering what mod you're liking the TC on, and what build? I remember seeing one of your posts, and you use a small mod, which I prefer. I've tried TC on the Zelos with 316ss, and just didn't like it. Seems like it ramps up super quick to the set temp, then almost stops once it gets there. So I get a really hot, then cooled down vape. I think on some TC mods you can specify a hard/soft/medium TC ramp up? I don't remember which ones.
Maybe it' just my style doesn't fit TC, and I would need to change it for it to work - I tend to take a pretty low wattage vape with a priming puff, then a 5-6 second controlled mtl draw to give it time to get a full dense "mouthful."

Okay I just found out that I’m not crazy after all. It appears that the guy from the vapour store gave me 20 gauge in stead of 28 gauge. Being the newby that I am I didn’t realise that higher gauge meant thinner wire. He must have heard me wrong. Well glad thats sorted out.. pff i nearly destroyed this tank working woth the 20 gauge.
