I always fill mine to the brim nearly every time, and had zero leaking problems with it since I had it, about 3 months.
Interesting. Do you open the juice control immediately after filling? I've read a few people saying to vape it a while before opening it. And others have said about turning the tank upside down to open the juice control. Think Todd mentioned that in his video.

I usually do leave a little space on my rtas, but on the prime I pretty much fill to the top..I think it's because of that little extra space in the top cap design. I also open JC to 1.5 turns immediately everytime

hi friends. i am newbie.i got prime a few days ago. The chimney and the deck is stuck. It is so tight. i tried freezing and using gloves. it didn't work. What can i do to open the deck and to wick coil?
One mother-of-all trick to open threadlocked stuff is the hairdryer & air can method.

1. Wear rubber gloves
2. Heat up the threadlocked area with a hairdryer (fairly Warm)
3. Immediately spray cold air onto surface with the air can turned upside down*
4. Quickly wipe-off surface moisture with a paper towel
5. Dethread the item/s with a sudden twist

*Important. Upside down forces out 'colder' air.

I received mine on Friday, but I guess it's not a keeper for me. Even in TC the vape is too warm for my taste, it leakes air through the AFC and the most important thing: I can't stand the noise it produces. No way. It was worth a try, but the Prime doesn't even come close to my Flash e Vapors.

Here is the message from Kayfun. It worked for me and i got very happy :)If someone has the same problem, I copy the message .As everybody mentioned before,Kayfun is a high quality vendor.

-Please try the following method which has often helped:
- Disassemble the base plate by loosening the contact screw on the 510 connector.
- Disassemble the AFC ring by simply pulling it down
. - Place the base including the evaporation chamber in the freezer for 30 minutes
- Then put it into hot water
- Dry the parts entirely, grab the evaporation chamber with a rubber glove and insert a small screwdriver into one of the air holes on the base to create a leverage.
If the method does not help, please get back to us. There is also an option to send it in for repair or maintenance.

I understand the things you mentioned, not all tanks are created equal and not good for everyone...it's a very quiet tank, almost silent, so that strange to me...as for leaking thru afc, I have heard that, but air only comes in just right above the hole you have set, no where else and there is no noticeable difference to the air just coming in above...try this, as long as your juice control is open at least 1.5 turns, snap up the afc ring and now put your thumb over the exposed hole you have it set to. With the afc ring snapped up, and thumb over hole, take a draw and it should be sealed (if not then oring issue or jc isn't opened quit enough) so now tank is sealed....take tank off of mod and take a few vapes with afc snapped up and take a few vapes with it snapped down....imo, the vape is exactly the same.....honestly I'm not talking you into the tank, I have tried tanks that others rave about and I think they blew, so I know exactly what you mean...one good thing is, you should be able to get most of your money back... one thing to note , if you have your jc open to much, it will produce a warmer vape and less vapor because it's slightly flooded....the proper build imo is to have the tails trimmed slightly allowing for a less open jc.....I open 1 to 1.5 turns at 70vg and 22 watts and it's perfect

I disagree. I use two Flash e Vapors exclusively for nearly a year now with a 1.2mm air intake screw, they are the most silent attys I know, and I know a lot. I just can't get used to anything noisier, and in my ears, the Prime is noisy, for me that's annoying. Everybody says it's quiet and smooth, but for me it's not.

Air is leaking through the top of the AFC-ring. There is an O-ring under the airhole, but not above and metal on metal cannot seal completly as long as you can twist the ring. It's not as bad as on the Berserker, but it leaks. I closed the airslot with tape and could even take a draw. This is something I really dislike, it causes turbulence and takes the draw far from being smooth. I use the 1 or 1.2mm airhole, so the wider holes might not cause a leak, but the tighter ones do.

You won't. And I'm not talkin' anybody out, but these are my points, and for my style of vaping they are valid.

I do trim, and the JC is also open 1 to 1.5 turns depending on the juice. There's no way I could vape the Prime on 22 Watts. Maximum is 14 Watts, 10-12 are better, in TC it's 220°C and 15 Watts. But as I mentioned, I am on the smallest to second smallest airhole, so this might force me to lower the wattage.

All in all it's just not my tank. I'll stay with my FeVs, they are die hard MtL machines and give me just the vape that I want, smooth, quiet, cold vape, dense, flavorful, best throathit I ever experienced. I used to squonk and I owned nearly every M2L squonkatty I could get, but for me nothing compares to a Flash e Vapor.

Honestly You sound like a little cry baby , as if it was all of our faults for your purchase. Was just trying to help and you respond like that?

I didn't blame anybody for buying a Prime. Not here, not elsewhere. What I write is my own opinion, I had high expectations, but they weren't met, that's all. If you are happy with the Prime that's fine, I'm happy for you. I dont't like it, but this is not your fault, it's not SvoeMestos fault, it just doesn't fit my needs.

If you mean this by blaming me blaming you:

It IS not quiet and smooth for me. I own quiet and smooth vaping attys, the Prime is not one of them. If you're happy with the draw, again: that's fine.

Hey guys...

Let’s just remember this is a text-based conversation and there’s always a lot that can get lost in translation when it’s just words on a screen.

I’m sure in person, face to face, this conversation would sound very different.

——

Let’s also remember that vaping is one of the most subjective things we do.

Airflow, draw, flavor, throat hit, wicking, wrapping, coiling, building, juice control, VG, PG...

Watts, volts, temp control...

Brands, colors, stainless, titanium, Ultem, polycarbonate, plastic...

Batteries, chargers, vendors, tweezers, screwdrivers, ohm meters, YouTube reviews...

I mean any one of those things is a personal preference, so there’s no WAY two people can have the same experience with the same tank.

Sorry for the rant.

Just hate seeing stuff like this devolve into something worse.

Seen it too much over the years and it’s why I’m not as active on ECF anymore.
