I think for the most part your right, but I have found that my gg tilemahos v2 just has a better flavor with my coffee juice. I have put that juice in 7 or 8 different tanks over the last 2 years and I can definitely say for sure that it flat out taste better in that one tank then any of my other tanks. I wouldn't say certain tanks do better then others, but certain tanks do taste a little different then others for sure. I have at least 7 different rta's going at once every day and each does produce a slightly different taste , it's not much, but I know each doesn't produce the exact same vape with the same flavor

I think assessing flavor is way too subjective to say Tank A is better for NETS and Tank B is better for complex flavors. For starters, I have no idea what a complex flavor is and even if I did would that be the same as what someone else thinks it is? You believe coffee is better in one over the other. I don't doubt you. Someone else might think it's not as good. I have no doubt flavor changes from one atty to another but to say tobacco is better in one and complex flavors are better in another is a matter of personal preference and no way anyone can assign words like "better" or "worse". And maybe there is a flavor here or there that may perform "better" in one over another but I'm far more inclined to believe if one flavor does "better" in one atty over another then it is highly likely almost all others do as well.

I'd hate to see someone spend money on an expensive atty because someone else said tobaccos tastes better in that particular atty. Worse is they buy both expensive attys to use for different types of flavor with an expectation that it does. A) I don't think that is true in the vast majority of cases and B) who is to say what "better" is?

Yes I would say each tank has slightly different taste, but I agree and wouldn't say any of my tanks do good with only tobaccos, while some only do good with let's say fruits. All my tanks do well with any type of juices. So I definitely agree

Hi, I'm not sure if this post is still alive but I'm clueless right now, My kayfun build (SXK) is SS316L 26g 2.4mm 7 wrap space and the spitback is horrible it keeps popping up into my mouth it feels like I'm drinking the juice, I'm using 50/50 juice, and everytime I leave it for 10 mins and start vaping it back, I get dry hit taste as if my coil had hotspot even though I've dry fire it before I had it done, anyone having the same problem? Is there any solution?

I would say you don't have enough cotton in coil, Try stuffing a bit more in coil. If that doesn't work , try a little less cotton down the ledge. I find best results when I have a bit more cotton through the coil, but trim the tails slightly . Also keep the coil height around 1.5mm from airhole. Another thing is to not open juice control to much. It also can be a clone issue, and that's why this particular thread is really for authentic kayfuns only

That was very polite.

I was going to recommend:

Lift up the drip tip, and slide an authentic Kayfun Prime under it.

Boom. Problem solved.

I have to say I don’t remember a Kayfun thread without any reports of leaks or gurgles. This one has had virtually none. In my experience the Prime has been almost perfect. I’m always against using the word perfect but this tank has been as close as it gets, on a very long vaping journey.

The Lite Plus leaked for some people, the V4 had problems for some people, so did the mini v3 and so did the K5.

This one though I just don’t think I’ve ever heard or read anybody reporting leakage. Which is great.

I think for me, the only tanks I’ve never had any leakage from are the Lite Plus, the V4 and the Prime.

I agree . I have never had any leaking from the prime, but had a gurgle only once when I didn't have enough cotton down the ledge. Once I knew the exact wick amounts, nothing at all. This also is similiar to my km3's, but when those wick amounts aren't correct, you get slight leakage.

+1 the prime is the most expensive tank I've ever bought in 5 years of vaping, but it is also the most reliable too, never leaks and great flavor, proved to me you get what you pay for :)

Just wish they would do a black one too :)
I've spent a little more on a tank, but spent alot more on mods. I think the most I've spent on any one piece of vaping gear was around 600 bucks. Not that they are that much better then some of my 40 dollar mods, just that their sort of one of a kind and different. I look at it like I'm still way way ahead in cash if I was still smoking

@vapdivrr and @HBcorpse - Appreciate the gracious replies. :)

@Mochiza - As the mod for the sub forum, I need to step in here. You may have missed that the thread is for Authentic Primes only. That is because of severe conflicts that broke out in the past on Kayfun threads. I hope your question was answered and the issue resolved. Due to the thread rules, we won’t be able to help you further. Thanks for understanding. :)

Since it was a good question with a helpful response I’ll leave the post there for now. We will see how @Bronze feels when he returns and handle it accordingly.

Yes, black and 25mm. I would be all over that.

I have been using the prime for I think about 2 months, the small build deck got some getting used to, but I have had no problems at all. :)The only other kayfun I like as much as this one is my first one, KFL (non Plus) the one without the 0-ring on the fill screw, and no air flow thingy. That one has never leaked a drop, the ones with the 0-rings always leak within one day or 2 of putting a new 0-ring on it. The only problem I have with the prime is I don't have enough of them, I have just one. I am using the larger extension kit with it and just refill once a day. I was originally going to try to get the smaller one KF V3? I can't remember what it is called. This one is perfect for me, I just need to figure out how I can get about 3 more of them. :D

Here they are on my Double Barrel's. :)

Hello everyone,
I'm a new vaper (3 months).
Started with a zelos kit with the 1.8ohm coil and NETs, then discovered the flavourness of the 0.7ohm coil with manabush.
Had problems getting coils one time so decided to research and get "one of the best mtl rtas".
For a week after each time my tank goes empty and me trying different coil builds (2.5mm spaced/reg) and ohms from 1.1 to 1.5, and cotton wicking variations from tight thru the coil and looser, fluffing and trimming the cotton ends, I'm still getting a muted or maybe cotton taste in my vape from the KF.
At first I thought it was me getting vapers tongue, I compared it to a freshly opened 0.7 nautilus coil and I realized the it was no vapers tongue, just cant get the Prime to taste like the 0.7 nautlus.
i'm vaping the 0.7 with 18w which is 3.7v on the zelos,
Tried the KF builds with different wattage/volts...
Cotton is the one that came with the coil-master kit v3...
Today for example I stuffed more cotton in the coil so I needed to use tweezers not to deform the spaced coil, and then trimmed the edges a bit.

I'm lost.. looking for advice.

Thanks!

What kind of cotton do you use for your wick? When I used cotton, I used Native Wicks cotton and liked it rather well. Cotton can be different in quality. I have been using rayon for the last few months and actually prefer it over cotton.

Bottom line, my opinion is that the wick material is the problem. I am by far not an expert. I find the Prime to be the best overall RBA that I have ever used. If you are interested in a sample of either Native Wick or rayon, PM your address and I could ship a sample to you if you are in the USA.
