Other than the custom mixing, everything to do with ordering is automated through the site. Order history, packaging lists, shipping labels, etc. Since a check can’t be processed via the site, it’s a bit more of a complicated process. Then there’s a delay waiting for funds to clear so you know the order is actually paid for before you can fill the order and ship.
What happens when a customer walks in the store and pays with cash?

They get a big smile and some tasty juice. ;)

In store orders don’t run through the website. No shipping is required. And their receipts are printed from the register. They don’t have an order history. That’s if they purchase off the shelf. If local customers want a custom blend, then some do order through the site. The shipping option they choose is in-store pickup.

I guess a cash sale doesn't need a shipping label. And since we don't teach handwriting in school anymore no one is able to make one out by hand. :)

And if one pays cash, there is NO ONE on earth who can count change.

It is far too hard to buy a lot of things these days. I'd rather be shot than have to buy anything in an Office Depot. OTOH, Home Depot is a breeze checking out. Amazon it too easy, where as iTunes is a PITA. And don't even mention the stupid insurance companies we represent. Most insurance company computer systems are about 1990 vintage.

You'd think taking our money would be the easiest thing a seller would make happen.

I figured out a long time ago there's a large segment of the population that's sole purpose to make things complicated for everyone else. I fight these $&*#(@ all day long.

I'd just like to point out that, at least in Canada a lot of small vendors including juice shops etc are using EMT which is (email money transfer). If you use online banking, I believe most banks allow you to email money to either a friend or vendor and its doesn't cost the purchaser or vendor anything.

I believe it's the way of the future in online purchases.

Computer geeks lead the league in that department.

It's a variation of Jerry Pournelle's (RIP):

Pournelle's Iron Law of Bureaucracy states that in any bureaucratic organization there will be two kinds of people: those who work to further the actual goals of the organization, and those who work for the organization itself. Examples in education would be teachers who work and sacrifice to teach children, vs. union representative who work to protect any teacher including the most incompetent. The Iron Law states that in all cases, the second type of person will always gain control of the organization, and will always write the rules under which the organization functions.

Where, with your understanding of Pournelle, does the person who works for their own betterment fit? I think on those who can be sycophantic to their seniors and bullying to those on the same level or beneath them in the pyramid. The goals of the organization are only attained when it improves their own standing.

Uh, this is going off the rails. Time for a re-alignment.
You started it, Bad Bronze, Bad!
Ok, back on track, I'm proud to announce I have found a way to flood my Prime. (a first for geriatrics?) I started putting a 2.5mm coil in, even pre-prepared a piece of cotton, messed up the coil then took another out of my ready-box. The second was 3mm but I used the earlier piece of cotton in it. It was loose, but I thought it might be OK. It wasn't. I vaped happily yesterday evening on it but when I picked it up this morning, I got juice on my finger. replaced the cotton with a bulkier piece and everything is tickety-boo. Who says "you can't teach an old dog new tricks?" :)

I've been told everything is my fault. I have no problem with that. :)

Years ago I experimented with wick volume in the Kayfun Lite. My conclusion was it was better to have too much volume than not enough.

So you're the one! I always wondered, "Who's responsible?"

I'm in total agreement with you on that.... and also your point on wick volume. :)

Hello
what would be the size of the screws for the Prime;could it be M1,6 x 3?
they're not the same as the KFL+ right? i think the prime's are longer but haven't checked them side by side yet.
Did you look at the blueprint on the first post of this thread?
