I’m using Japanese cotton and getting 20 - 30 mls of Dragon’s Fire per wick. No break-in period at all. That’s since switching to a 3 mm ID coil. On 2 mm coils I rewicked daily using rayon, so only about 4 - 5 mls of Dragon’s Fire and it tasted funky to me. I have a sensitive palate overall.

I’ve been wondering whether the ID of the coil is the biggest factor. The cotton is only beginning to darken after those 20 - 30 mls. The rta is different and has more open airflow too. Maybe that’s a factor too.
I never knew coil ID was much of a factor. But I never studied it so what do I know? Probably falls in the category of “depends on the person “.

I've heard this Dragon's fire a few times on here, please explain :)
Dragon’s Fire is an HHV NET. Very clean burning and a very beloved flavor by many. Impossible to describe the flavor. Been my EDV for more than six years. Classified as a heavily flavored NET. Not strong. Been described as chocolate, coffee, banana, anise, and a whole bunch of other things. Has to be tried cuz there is no consensus.

It does kind of make sense about coil ID. I suppose if your vaping a larger one, there is a bit more juice on perhaps a slightly cooler coil that has larger gaps? I do still like my contact coils, but feel they gunk slightly faster then spaced, so it can be something like that. I tried 3mm but found they lost a bit of intensity compared to a smaller one, but i dont think I kept them in long enough to do a proper comparison . 30mls is really good with Dragons fire and definitely shows a great build

Dragons fire seems to be quite popular on here.... I'm going to have to try it I think :)

Try and let it age a couple weeks. And dont give up on it too quickly. It is a unique flavor so give yourself a chance to wrap your head around it. I’ve known many a person who tried it, put it down, then pick it up months or years later and get hooked on it. That wasnt the case with me. I was hooked after the third mil. But everyone is different.

Another dragons fire lover here. Like bronze said, it's hard to describe the flavor, to me it's a little sweet , perhaps a honey note to it and very delicious. I have tried many juices over the years and 99 percent have been more or less the same, meaning one vendors coffee cake is pretty much like another's cinnabun, or ones kona milkshake is another's latte, they are very similar , just a different name. Thru the years I have only found a couple that are truly unique and DF is one of them. You simply cannot find anything remotely similar anywhere else. The second juice I have found that is quite unique is bobas bounty, but not quite as unique as DF.

Perfect timing with the sale going on right now. I am the silly gal who thought I tasted anise in DF. It was my messed up tastebuds just after quitting cigs. I tried it three times and gave it away. Now I’m hooked and it’s my ADV. It is hard to describe! But definitely no anise.

More juice on the coil probably is a factor. The coils in my RTAs are a single fused Aliens at .27 ohms. I’m vaping at 50W. In this setup the flavor is very much intensified rather than muted. On 30g kanthal contact coils I used to build, I agree with you that the larger ID muted the flavor.

yeah I was just on their site, great sale, was going to get a big bottle then I seen they don't take PayPal or bank email.. I don't use cc's. Too bad I really wanted to try it. I really wish more vendors would at least ad PayPal or options other than just cc's.

lately I've become way to sensitive to taste and the freshness of the wick,
i remember when moving from the ego battery to the KFL i used to wick once a week or more and be satisfied with it and as time passed it has gone down each time by a bit to the point of wicking the KFL almost every tank refill and same for the Prime.
quit annoying and tiresome.

Lori can probably help you with that.

That’s me. I’m the webmaster & designer for HHV. Since your post I’ve been thinking again about how we might enable PayPal. HHV had it in the past. There were many issues due to PayPal’s way of doing things. But your point is a good one!

Oh, Hi Lori, I left a message on your site saying that as well. I'd really like to try the juice but I just don't use cc's at all I've noticed there are a lot of juice sites using PayPal or bank emails now. It just limits your customer base if you only have a cc pay option. I have no prob doing a bank email if that can be an option as well. I even noticed your shipping to canada is pretty reasonable compared to other sites so was glad to see that until it came to payment options lol

Anyhow let me know if anything can be done so I can get my hands on some dragon fire :)

Wow 50 watts in some of your rtas? Are they like sub ohm tanks? Fused aliens sound really neat.

Maybe if you sent me a check, then I could put your order on my CC? Just a thought if there are no other options.

I have 3 Wotofo Serpent SMM’s. It’s all I use,and yes, sub-ohms. The fused Alien is .26 - .3 ohms and the recommended wattage range is 40 - 60W. I like a warm vape. Alien coils deliver a lot of juice to each hit. It’s the sweet spot for me thanks to the fullness of flavor.

Actually, the easiest would be via an HHV gift certificate - at least until I have a chance to see about enabling PayPal. Then you could place your own order using the GC balance. I’ve never heard of bank emails!

I have a PayPal account and could purchase the HHV gift certificate for you. The GC is transferred to you via email. If you want to go that route this time, send me a PM. No pressure - just an option. :)

I also never heard of blank emails, but I could find out...let me know...did it come up "check" or " cheque"? I wrote check and is the way most write it in the US; but my wife , originally from England writes it cheque.

yeah It came up check, but in canada we write cheque lol, also I prob didn't explain it right but what I mean by bank emails is you can email money from your bank if you do online banking. When I go online my bank has the options to "email money" to either a person or vendor. Once it's emailed to them then would just need to accept it and it would transfer into their bank immediately. Lots of vendors have it as a payment option now.

Anyhow Lori has taken care of it, if I want to try DF I will go through her, but thank you very much for the offer :)

Cheers
