@Bronze Look, no ill intent here. I did not see you started the thread and am not aware of your other KF threads. It's also not that I don't believe you, it was just hard to imagine someone else having a different experience, that's all.

I do get your point about the set-and-forgetness of the KM3. Too bad the Prime af is off your preferred setting. I guess a judgement about performance is always biased by personal preference.

I prefer the airflow setting in the KM3. The screw is buried so no chance of it slipping or moving like on the Prime. I'm always having to fiddle with the airflow ring on the Prime because it accidentally gets moved. Yes, it is easier on the Prime but when you have to set the air only once it's no big deal. As for smoothness, I see no difference. Might depend on where it is set. And I've used my KM3 with TC and have had no issues with unstable resistance. We have different experiences, evidently.

When you're taking it apart to wick is totally different than when using it. I would expect things to move when I'm taking something apart. All's I know is, there are a lot of tanks out there with loose air rings that can move very easily, the Prime is not one of them. Best air adjustment I've ever seen.
Have it vape ready on your mod...

Now lift the air control ring...

Did it move upward?

How does that affect it’s airflow?

Of course it's gonna affect the airflow. You just moved it! What does that have to do with not touching it and just vaping? I'm sorry I don't get your point.

You could move it unintentionally...

Maybe it’s also about how much you open the jfc and on which mod you have it. I only have it opened one and a quarter turn and on my JacV there’s not a chance of me touching it or moving it upward by accident.
Interesting, may I ask what happens when you open or close the juice flow an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn either way?

Thanks, Jim

I saw on the SvoëMesto site where the PEI tank kit provides up to 3ml capacity. That would be perfect for the 18350 P3s. Can anyone confirm that capacity?
i don't have a seringue, but it definitely holds more juice in it as advertised.
i used to have to fill twice in an evening and now one filling is enough.

I'd have to disagree with this statement. Way less handy to adjust airflow, airflow screw tightening for tighter draw results in gurgling, airflow is far from as smooth as the Prime, if you like warm vapes the small chamber heats up quicker and can make condensation taste funky, too unstable for TC.

I really love the shape and I really want to love it, but I'm having a hard time doing so.
It's funny how our opinions differ. I feel the km3 and prime to be pretty much the same, in af , vapor, taste, warmth of vape, etc. When I got my km3's , I set the af and have not touched it in years, so for me it's a non issue that its buried or is a screw type. The decks on both are exactly the same, so I personally dont feel any difference in warmth or concentration of vape. I vape my prime on the second tightest these days and my km3's are set about the same and if you blindfolded me, there is no possible way I could tell which is which. Builds have everything to do with results, and there have been many times where I just dont make a good build and the vape suffers bigtime and when that happens, there are definitely differences between tanks, but when both have perfect builds in both, the vape is very very close.

My fixed airflow KM3 has taught me that the juice control is to be tweaked to perfect flavor in the K Devices.

Find build you like, Find airflow you like, and bring on Perfection with the fine adjustments of the juice control.

I'm not about to suggest we all have the exact same Primes. I mean, we are dealing with some tight tolerances. But my airflow ring moves easy enough such that when I unscrew the base I often slide the airflow ring down and it rotates to a different air setting. If I know I did this then I will reset it (if I can remember how many dimples I like). Sometimes I don't know and I find it in a different position and have to remember my dimple preference. Also, as a person with onset senior motor skill deficiencies, I will sometimes pull up the ring when adjusting the juice flow control. I know on my Prime (and others have said the same), the JFC is rather tight. Because of this, I have to grab the AFC ring to keep from turning the entire atty. This is, in part, what the cause is.

All this said and as I stated before, this problem is infinitesimal relative to other calamities in my life. The Prime is and remains my go-to atty that I use 90% of the time because it fits on my JAC Series B like a glove. Not to mention it performs as well as any atty I ever used. However, I still use my KM3 on my Radius which I keep in another room and IMO that KM3 vapes just as good as the Prime. And the JFC is much smoother versus the Prime. Both attys, IMO, impart dripper quality flavor.

I set the dang thing the day I got it and haven't been back in there since. I'm guessing there are some people who have a need or reason to change their airflow more often. I'm just not one of them so a buried air screw is my preference...out of sight, out of mind, out of my way. Set it an forget it as Ron Popeil would say. Works for me.

Yep, Just like the Dvarw, you install the size airflow you like and thats it, never thought of again. Northing wrong with that.

Sometimes less control is a good thing. :)

But I do recognize some people like the convenience of an exterior air adjustment. I can especially see this with new vapers who are experimenting with different air flows. Others are experimenting with different builds or power/temp settings, etc.. In these cases, the convenience of an external airflow has advantages. But as a veteran vaper who knows what he likes and old fart set in his ways, the internal screw adjustment is perfecto!

On the KM3, I just removed the AF screw, and left it that way, and it was perfect (for me). And I did like the features of Prime, but preferred the vape of the KM3.
I know people who did the same thing. They just took the screw completely out. Many did that on the Kayfun Lite Plus as well.

Yep - I was one of them. When I first got the KM3, it seemed like at the end of the day, no matter how I'd set the AF, it had gotten to be a little tighter draw. I think it just let a little condensate get in there, and even a tiny bit made it feel different. When I started removing them, they were perfectly consistent.

I did it backward, and didn't get the Lite+ until after the KM3. Liked it a lot too, but by that time, it was tighter than I liked, so I just removed the screw on it. Even drilled one of them out to get bigger AF, and that worked remarkably well.

I've been ordering from Fasttech for years. I have never had any major problems myself. Once they couldn't ship at the promised release date due to the manufacturer having production delays. And I feel they can be liberal with promising early shipping dates for pre-order stuff. But, if it's in stock there's really no problem. If you can wait and bring up some patience they can usually ship for free, but if you need it a bit faster ship by e-packet is usually pretty fast. And e-packet gets cheaper the higher the order amount is. I usually don't pay more than 2 or 3 bucks for shipping. Sometimes you'll get a message that says your order is already shipped, but it can take a few days for it to actually be in the first transport hub, before it gets on the plane. But for free or mega cheap shipping I really can't complain.
Just put my first order in fast tech. Ordered muji cotton pads, 26 guage wire and some tweezers e packet shipping all for 13$. Everything says authentic, will the wire be o.k to use.
