The lame-o answer: Then the KF logo on the driptip is not aligned with the mod and facing towards me and I get sad. The honest answer: I played around with it a bit and for juiceflow for the thickness of the juices I mix and flavor this is the perfect setting and just adjusted the driptip accordingly. Which was a pita to adjust, because those are the tightest tolerances possible.may I ask what happens when you open or close the juice flow an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn either way?
I've found the KF3 to be way more noisy, but I have never been a fan of loose af and that dang screw that makes it gurgle and sound loud is just a big let down for me. I've read that the plastic screw (also for KF4) helps with that, so I'm very interested in trying it out. I just can't find a shop that has ánd the KF3 spares kit ánd the af screws ánd the KF3 isolators kit. I'd be paying double the price with shipping costs if I order them directly from Svoëmesto I feel some of the temp problems were due to me running it too hot or quick 2x chain hits at work, as well as iffy TC on the VaporFlask (Wismeh version), but I often had dark gunk inside the chamber. Never had those problems with the Prime for some reason.I feel the km3 and prime to be pretty much the same, in af , vapor, taste, warmth of vape, etc.
Sorry to hear about the senior deficiencies and my apologies if I made it sound like I was doubting your experience as a KF user. This has not been my intent. I do agree that the JFC on the KM3 (haha, nice rhyme) is a lot smoother and that it's kind of nice to have a very precise ánd set and forget AFC. I normally like 1 dot, but maybe twice a week feel like going 2 dots. This makes the Prime more practical. And the JFC is much smoother versus the Prime. Both attys, IMO, impart dripper quality flavor.
I find 1.5 turns good for me and if its turned down tighter, flavor diminishes, if its opened more, the coil gets over saturated and it becomes a little harsh and visibly less vaporInteresting, may I ask what happens when you open or close the juice flow an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn either way?
Thanks, Jim
Maybe the KM3 will work out better for you this time. The lame-o answer: Then the KF logo on the driptip is not aligned with the mod and facing towards me and I get sad. In the end I'm just bummed out about the KF3. It's such a nice little tank and I want to love it.
I had a clone to try it out which was horrible, but I did like the shape and feel so I did buy an original.
I've had it for over 2 years now, but it has been standing in an atty stand for over a year.
Somewhere in the new year, when I have some money, I'll arrange the spares and isolators and plastic AF screws and hope I can finally be friends with it.
I really hope so. Then I will start the hunt for a Dicodes Tiny. That looks like such a fun and swanky setup.Maybe the KM3 will work out better for you this time.
The KM3 was perfect for a Provari with the tapered top. They were the same width.I really hope so. Then I will start the hunt for a Dicodes Tiny. That looks like such a fun and swanky setup.![]()
the JFC is rather tight. Because of this, I have to grab the AFC ring to keep from turning the entire atty.
I’ll have to give it a try. I lube it up better these days and it loosens up after a bit. But it has always been tighter than my V5’s and KM3’s.One of my wife's Primes was like that. Quite tight to open/close the JFC. None of our other primes was like that. I finally just swapped an o-ring it shipped w/ for one in the spares bag and now it's nice and smooth and easy to operate. Looking closing at the original o-ring I could see it was slightly misshapen and was likely causing a bit of binding when turning the JFC.
Yeah, too bad I struggle so much at life. Didn't have money in the Provari era, otherwise I'd probably would've owned a bunch. But if I can get my current situation together I'm definitely saving up for a Dani-box Mini. I think that would be a really rad present for myself. The KM3 was perfect for a Provari with the tapered top. They were the same width.
It's so hard to gauge the actual 'colors' of those special editions.Moonlight Kayfun Prime came today

This looks gorgeous, though. Seems to really fit the finish of the Dani (as far as I can judge from the shot).
I can’t get in the classies. Something with the forums being messed up or some shenanigans. And I don’t think I’m still interested in Provari. Think I’m going the Dicodes route. But thanks for the heads up. I do appreciate it.There’s a Provari Mini v2.5 in the Classies right now...

I’m fairly positive as I’ve also just managed to pick up a Telegonos for 40 bucks.Good Luck with that...
Make no mistake, the Kayfun Mini V3 is every bit as good. Different shape than the Prime but packs the same punch as the Prime.
I saw a extension kit for the Nite DLC, but can’t remember where it was now.
If it is to your liking you could just use the High Noon extension. Seems to fit the theme well. Have a bit of fancy gold in with the black.I do hope they do one.
i don't have a seringue, but it definitely holds more juice in it as advertised.
i used to have to fill twice in an evening and now one filling is enough.
