Thanks for all the help guys, tried less cotton by vape production was to bad, so tried trimming tails a little and working ok at the moment, I was only having issues after refilling which was annoying as the first tank could be so good. I notice your coil is sitting much higher than mine. If I raise mine higher I find it to airy no matter which air flow size I use . Maybe that's where I'm going wrong. My shoulders are almost going into juice holes. What do you think. New build pic,

I’m kind of surprised you didn’t like the DVARW!

I tried a DVARW MTL, with the airflow insert removed...and loved it so much I immediately bought another.

The widest setting on the Prime is ever-so-slightly too small for me, but I love it as well.

As far as build quality, I couldn’t compare the two at all.

The Prime is designed to do one thing, and the DVARW another.

I know they both used high quality materials, and their designs were well thought out!
The Dvarw is a very good tank, don’t get me wrong. Just didn’t cut is aswell as the Prime does for me. Doesn’t feel anywhere near as well built either.

The Dvarw is a strange tank, as in it’s almost like something that would have been introduced 3 or 4 years ago. Very well thought out indeed. It reminds me of an old Kayfun Lite only filling from the bottom without needing a screwdriver.

But the Prime does everything I need it to and I find it easier to build on etc.

Although I feel the darvw is every bit as good in vape quality as the prime, it doesn't have the build quality of the prime. Yes it can still give you many years of use, but it doesn't have that hi end feel. I dont think many care to much for that feel, but I do enjoy things that feel and look hi end and svoemesto is one of the best for that

Agreed. I like the high end feel. I’ve been using Kayfuns continuously since the Lite Plus and you come to expect a certain feel off a tank. If that makes sense. Kayfuns just feel and look the price they are.

Actually I always set mine at 1.4 mm but on that rewick I was kind of adjusting the coil and forgot to reset at my normal height. I believe in that pic its definitely a bit higher then usual

Here are a few picks of a current build and in the first one I like trimming the undersides a bit, I feel this allows more af, while keeping the wick away from leads or deck, thus not allowing juice to drip down.View attachment 786333 View attachment 786335 View attachment 786337 View attachment 786339 View attachment 786341
Super pics Divr, always on hand to lend help to those who need it. Between you and Bronze, I’ve been learning and still learning since the massive old Kayfun Lite thread away back in the day.

If only happening on refills, can it be that you are not entirely closing off JC? When the prints aren't quite worn in yet, it can be sticky and what you think might be closed, perhaps is not. What I like to do after a build is squirt juice along the entire outside, from the top outside of deck , all the way down past the bottom threads. I then screw the tank and chimney all the way down, then back up and down again. This over time has made my primes extremely smooth

A certain somebody in this household just busted her third centerpin on her KM3. I've NEVER busted even one! Origin Vapes is out of centerpins. Gotta start looking around I guess.
You told her she doesn't need to pack an attie, like you do a pack of cigs, right?
How do you even break one of those?
Let me know if you can't find any - I can send you one or two from retired ones, I'm sure. Clones, but if she's just gonna break 'em anyway...

Thanks Dawg but I just ordered two of them from Creme D Vape. Got two to cover expensive shipping costs plus she's gonna break another one again anyway. Don't ask me how someone could break a center pin because I never have. I know you can break them if you screw them in too hard. I've never known anyone who breaks more crap than her. Everything is crash, bang, ram, slam!!! You should see the stuff I have jury rigged around here.

That is a very uncommon thing, how the heck is that possible 3x's.

You tell me Diver. I have no idea what the hell she is doing. I beg, I plead, I cry and I get no answers. Like I say, I never knew anyone in my life that breaks more shlt than her. I'm always going behind her fixing crap that she wrecks. You should see our vacuum cleaner. I added more hardware to that thing than what it started with. I've rebuilt the ice/water dispenser on the fridge more times than I can count. Wham, slam, smash, bang!! I sit in the other room and can hear it. I just cringe. Trust me, there are numerous other examples. These two are nuthin'! No amount of begging does any good. She is who she is. She breaks, I fix.

I happened to find another centerpin I didn't know I had. Still gonna keep the order with CDV cuz I know I'll need them.

Looks just right to me.... about the jc issues I wrote in a previous post, about if maybe they are not completely closing when refilling, the best way to check is without any juice and without the glass tank. Simply screw down your chimney and look at the holes to see if they are completely sealed off

Thanks for the info, will try that next time I have the tank empty. Anyway refilled tank this morning and as you said about it felling closed but not being completely closed, well I gave it an extra bit of turn when it felt tight and it seems to have worked. After I gave the tank a bit of a clean didn't juice up that oring and threads. On my second tank and things going good. Some day somebody is going to bring a tank out that I can just put a build and wicking in and vape all ....ing day. Yet again divrr, thanks for your time and help.

as said above;to much cotton(to long and to thick)and I'd use Koh Gen Do or Muji instead of the CB.
also there is no o-ring in that place unless you use the extension tank it,but there is one here

Hi,
Im from Ireland and getting cotton pads is a bit of a task almost impossible, can you recommend some here so I can buy online. Some of the UK vendors won't post to Ireland, bought some muji online before but they were not the real deal.

I'm in the Netherlands and buy a lot from France, I wouldn't think of buying a small item from them because of the postage, >€30 is free. They've only let me down once in nearly three years. They also seem not to have received the TPD memo yet.
Crème de Vape in UK is well thought of.

I saw the Le Petit Vapoteur card on your desk. I ordered the Nautilus AIO from them and much to my surprise almost half of the 10ml bottle emptied in the pod. They sent me the 4,5ml version, not the 2!
Never had a complaint about them.
