This is not a PC problem since this is happening on all my PC's, iDevices, and my new PC at work (new as in post-forum update). When I respond in a thread, the screen refreshes me to the first post of the thread. What is that?
Please fix.
As you performed this massive migration this week, I thought it might be useful to report observations.
When I post a reply in a thread, upon refresh after clicking the button, I first see the original Page 1 of the thread for a few seconds before it finally comes to rest on the last page at the just-published post.
Again, not a complaint, of course, just information in case it is useful to you.
And thank you! Good to see improvements coming in.

It's happening to everyone. I think most of the comments are in the "Back Online" thread.
:wubs: But I have no intention to move to "FF" - be the problems everyone is expercing here on ECF are resolved or not with that browser . . . Really too much of a problem and PITA to have to constantly download and update all the "sub-programs" (?) I would need/want to use that browser . . . Just Satin' . . .
BTW: Just started experiencing a new problem, sometimes when opening a thread it will show in the address line - but there is a blank page or a "404 not found" message . . . Only after I refresh (F5) the page does it show up . . . Again not every thread or page and not every time . . . Just thought you might want to know . . .![]()
what are you talking about, uncle?ff updates itself automatically just like ie
believe me, i was an ie fan till not all that long ago - just ask roly- but i realized there were just too many shortcomings no matter how much i liked the layout

Yep - As usual "You're" Correct - However, if you reread what I said "download and update all the "sub-programs" (?) I would need/want to use that browser . . ." When FF updates it does not included them as far as I know . . . AND - To be honest I did use FF for awhile and everytime it updated - things started going real screwy and kept crashing on "Me" . . . Just Sayin' . . .![]()
And Tapatalk's tag lines at the end of each post are annoying* Not that it makes much difference as old Tapatalk versions don't comply with any rules, they delight in sidestepping any logical process. Tapatalk is a steaming pile of ........... .
Same here using Chrome and Windows 7. I'm also not seeing the "view last unread post" option anywhere.
Edit: And after I submit my post it takes me to the top of the page I posted on.
The last post I read said it should be fixed by midweek. Also said Tapatalk is giving them fits.Same setup, same problem.
After submitting a new post, I'm being beamed to the top of the page I'm on or to the top of page 1 of the thread.
Takes me some time to get back to my post... Am I doing anything wrong? or is still being worked on?
ETA: Like right now--I clicked submit; I was taken to Roly's OP, then to the top of this page--and it froze there. I had to scroll down to my post.
Not the end of the world, but an annoyance nevertheless.

Hahah--clicking on your link takes me to the top of page (post 21), not to the linked post....
This is fun!
And yeah--I read it. Fingers crossed.

Incorrect link posted, this will do it, takes you to post 35 http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...irst-new-post-not-working-4.html#post12465945
I know what is wrong with the links, have figured a PITA workaround to get me to the last Unread Post of a thread, but waiting for the fix next week, hopefully. The problem is the page number not being parsed into the link, Ie: "go-first-new-post-not-working-4.htmll#post12465945" (how it should be), it is just directing to "go-first-new-post-not-working.htmll#post12465945" (how it is directing), which defaults and takes you to the that page, not that post. Don't know the coding, just what it is doing.
