it depends...dicodes made me want to slash my wrists
if they sit without use for over an hour, there is an 0.6 second firing delay. This was a deal breaker for me
BUT the draw is buttery. They have the smoothest draw around.
also, any mod can do MTL, IIRC the DNA250 has a minimum setting of 1 watt
worse than that...One of the Dicodes family girls once broke your heart, didn't she?![]()
depends if you have girl hands tbhIs that one of those indoor mods, @mac-nutty ?![]()
....
I'm being good.. lol
I prefer the "slap it against the sides" approach too. Those little channels never...(how did he put it again)?
Oh yeah; Those little channels never blew my skirt up.![]()
Why start now, and WHY here (of all places)???![]()

I have had every kayfun, from the 3.1 to the nkfl and have found them relatively the same to wick. Besides the kayfuns I have tried perhaps 40 other mtl rtas over the years and found perhaps half more finicky and half less finicky, so I guess for me it falls kind of midway to maybe a bit more finicky then most....but imo this also has to do with wattage your running. If someone is running these rtas at 10 watts and a 50/50 juice, the wicking will be less finicky, but I use to run the older kayfuns at 18 watts and from the v3 onwards, run in the 23 watt range with upwards of 80vg. With that vg ratio and power, the wicking must be more precise, so perhaps this is why we see a difference in opinions about how finicky they are? Either way, whether one thinks it's easy or a bit finicky, rtas are indeed the most involved wicking there is. (Except the old genesis attys, which were definitely the most involved)Funny, but I found the Prime and RTAs like it most forgiving. The older KFs I wouldn't advise for a newbie, though. The worst part about building a KF, for me, is my eyesight, lol.
Thanks for all your replies! How does TV vaping differ from wattage vaping?
If you're wondering why I don't use the Zenith in TC, that would be because I can't. TC only works with certain wire types, SS 316L being my preference. The Zenith coils, like many other drop-in coils, are made of kanthal.
In the comments for the YouTube Z-BiiP AIO introductory video...(which uses the same coils as the Zenith):
Question: "Any chance of any N80 or SS316 coils in the future??"...
PBusardo Answer: "Yes! Soon!"...
im conisdering getting another one for TCR, they are cheap but brave and pretty capable, another member brought a link of review that explained pretty well, i wonder if reborn 168W will do tcr as well, like this brave soldier, started liking asmodus,Absolutely, it's the first mod I've tried tc vaping with. Love using it in TCR mode with my RTAs![]()
with TC you can adjust to bring out flavours u might not of tasted in the juice before , no burn coils its gods gift to vapers![]()
I appreciate your attention to those details. I haven't used anything above 70vg in the MTLs but your right. Who knows what people are using unless asked. Good point and I know who I can come to with my KF questions nowI have had every kayfun, from the 3.1 to the nkfl and have found them relatively the same to wick. Oh, that is nice! I don't have a huge KF collection and I like the KFL+ but have become so accustomed to top fill. I suppose I've become a little spoiled. I don't have those top fill caps that they use to make. Did you ever use those?Interesting, muth. I find the older KFs to be far easier (and more newbie-friendly) than the newer ones. Anything from the V3s on were a PITA to wick for me.
Of course, I took all my v2s and v2+s and kompacted them into smaller more doable tanks.

Ha ha! Too bad, I'd like to get another Prime.@muth, I've mainly heard positive things about Ulton. Their Prime was rumoured to be excellent, it's that rare though you'd think it was made from Rhodium.
