Best scisors for cutting wick and wire.

4$ crash scissors. They have fine teeth, and give me a perfect clean cut on the wick. They cut the wire clean and nice too.

I use a small pair that came in an old Army uniform repair kit... works ok, only problem is when I trim the wick I don't always get a clean cut since I'm just snipping it with the tip.

Shooting the wires is an excellent method, but I use BIG wires so I have to break out the artillery.....

If it were any larger it would have it's own zip code.
