Both the PMMA and metal cap seize on my Drop Solo. Stopped using the PMMA in fear I might break it trying to take it off. Have not tried the spare silicone o-rings, they may fair a bit better than the black rubber that came pre installed

You cannot close one side of the original Drop. Guess you could use a single coil but air flow might be wasted. It's designed for duals

My Drop got easier to pull apart after about 2 weeks of daily use. I do find that even on 2 holes it is pretty airy, but not excessively so.

Mine is just under a month old and has seen some steady use. Probably in my head but I feel it has gotten worse.

Actually, I found the PMMA cap to be easier than the metal. But still a b*tch! I do try to pull beyond those tabs to allow twisting. But thx for the tip. Even the air flow adjuster is next to impossible to get out.

When I am up to it, I’ll try the silicone o-rings to see if that helps. Outside of that, I do like the rda

I stand corrected. I thought the AF would be problematic on the GR1 used as a dripper. Do you guys drip onto the wicks with the cap off?

I found if you drip (drops) through the drip tip, it's fine. But if you just squirt the juice in there it can leak since it doesn't have time to flow down the coil and wicking and ends up overflowing around the coil into the airflow tubes. With the small airflow tubes installed its not that big of a deal the wide open ones are much worse with catching the overflow.

I use a 510 drip tip so I have to be precise but I drip with the cap and tip on. My bottles have the glass dripper and I do 5-7 drips at a time. It’s not as convenient as a squonker but when I’m at home, where I always use it, it’s not a problem. Like I said I use it to test my new recipes because it gives me the best, most accurate, flavor.

If you're on a budget, the recurve is great...

My personal list would be:
Narca
Narda
Le Supersonic
Convergent
Skyfall
Krma
Salix
Haku Venna
Just curious but is that list in order? Also have you used the clones of any of those rda’s? If so any thoughts?

The flavor from it is intense. Even with the 810 on it sometimes I have to dilute my recipes for it. I usually make my juice pretty mild. I still get a lot more complex flavor than with my RTAs even after I dilute it. I'll have to try it for testing. I have a few old mechanicals I could put it on with the 22mm cap. I like testing on tube mechs for some reason.

I also like the Salix and have a NarCa otw.. or maybe it was a NarDa. I forget. Skyfall is good too. Havent tried the NarDa yet, but its pretty similar to a lot of these mentioned so cant imagine much difference.

The comet is pretty nice as well [:

I only own 2 single coils
Vandy vape govad
This thing has metric tons of airflow to me. Way to much.
Wasp nano.
I use this one a lot. I even made a titanium top cap for it with slightly smaller holes.

I agree with just about every post here though. The ones named are the classics that everyone likes.

Owning a Nano this has sparked my interest. Love to see a pic.

I like the Nano, excellent flavour but I find it too loud to use anywhere outside the confines of my home. Even then I send the neighborhood dogs in to a barking frenzy with this whistling RDA
