Has anyone tried extracting Burley? I am looking for something similar to Patriot juice from Goodejuice - a favorite of mine. According to their description, Patriot contains Burley, sweet Cavendish and a bit of Perique. It has a pleasant tobacco taste similar to a cigar, but not quite.

The burleys from leafonly are good but nothing tastes like patriot. It was my first good net that i have tried. By blowing out of the noise it tastes like a cigarillo, wow ! I have had problems to believe that there arent burned cigars in it.

Our home made nets have more spices by mouth feeling than patriot. Patriot has only this full cigar flavour by breathing out through the noise. Sometime i am thinking that the secret from patriot must be a flavour and that patriot is not a net.

It is a NET for sure - judging by how it is clogging my coils !! And it does taste like cigarillos - even though the description says Burley, (plus other tobaccos.) The trick is to find the RIGHT Burley since it comes many varieties. Who knows, perhaps cigarillos are made from a variety of Burley.... Anyone know?

Perhaps. But i have tried 3 or 4 Burleys and they havent tasted like a cigarillo. Patriot is not very dark but a homemade juice with burley is darker, if you want to have a good taste. If you are changing juices in a clearomizer you can taste patriot for a long time. You must wash out your clearomizer to lose the taste of patriot. Changing other nets is no problem. Therefore i think it could be a flavour. Let us know your findings.

Cohiba is a synthetic cigar flavor made by Tobacco Express, and also by Super concentrate Flavors. Available at vendors such as Ecig Express or possibly Bull City Vapor.

As for the NET version, here is a list of different tobacco leaves used in cigars.

Cigar Tobacco Types - FAQ - Pipes and Cigars

My guess would be Connecticut Shade tobacco as a possible ingredient of Patriot.

Conneticut Shade tobacco

Just FYI, Flavorah is about to boot out a Connecticut Shade concentrate very soon. It's pretty darn tasty, smooth and has just the right amount of ash on the tail end. :) .....and no chemical backnote; it proves to be a relatively fast steeping tobacco as well.

That's a bit off topic, but the Connecticut Shade thing pulled me in.

another of my newest extractions was filtered and ready to test.
It is Louisiana Perique Flake by Gawith & Hoggarth & co. I have to say here this is TRUE Perique! I have tried many other brands of Perique and this is the first and only e-liquid that has the characteristic slight sour smell and true taste of REAL Perique. I Love This Stuff!
How do I know this is real? Some years ago a family member and I went to the Parish where it is made. I got to smell the real deal and was given a chance to get a couple puffs on some.
Once you try it you will know what you have been missing all along....
