I actually read this post with the intent of ripping you because I love TV. I know Geoff has had problems lately but really that isnt an excuse for this.

Hi Brewster,

I appreciate you not ripping on me although I did anticipate that happening.

I would like to hear Geoffs side of the story cuz this doesnt make sense at all.

I would love to hear Geoffs side too but he never answers me.

Geoff has a geat rep and does a lot of buisness here why would he risk that for $35 bucks?

That is what I was initially thinking and one reason I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But the fact is he hasn't made good.

Anywho at this point if you have the emails and proof of what you says is true I would contact the moderators as Geoff is a registered supplier and they mediate situations like this.

I suspect that will have to be the next move since I still haven't heard from him.

If it was me at this point I would do what it takes to get my money back. It wouldnt be about the money its the point of the issue IMO.

Although I don't have thirty-five dollars to just throw away, you are right when you say it gets to a point where it goes well beyond the money issue.

You know, had it been my intent to cause Geoff trouble for some reason, I would have come onto the forum as soon as I got my bank statement. Calling him names and pointing a finger. I didn't do that. I have tried everything I know of doing to get this resolved. Quietly.

In retrospect maybe I shouldn't have been so quiet because others should probably know what you might expect it there is a problem. But as was stated, we tend to protect our vendors and maybe we shouldn't be doing that.

I recently ordered from TV and didn't encounter any problems. Well, actually shipping was a tad slow but I knew that it would be when I ordered (due to all orders being hand made as they are ordered). It was actually nice to get a surprise in the mail unexpectedly.
As for this, it is a bad business practice to ignore a customer who has had an issue. But from what was originally his (paraphrased?) reply of "What would you like? You have a $35 store credit." I assume he expected you to reply with an order. I would follow through on Brewsters suggestion if I were you. "I would contact the moderators as Geoff is a registered supplier and they mediate situations like this."

The guy has always rubbed me the wrong way with anything he posts. Cocky attitude does not agree with me. There are many suppliers here that put out a good product. Many a USA product. If he continues with attitude, he will lose customers. There is another supplier who actually does the Friday $10 buck thing for 30ml.

We need to stop putting these suppliers on a pedestal. We are the consumer and without us they would not be in business. Remember people, if TV goes under, there will always be another to follow that makes awesome ejuice.....we don't need to keep sucking up to him and allow the attitude.

I agree with the OP....bad business practices........and if it were me, I would definitely contact ECF since TV is a registered supplier and complain. He had enough chances...if he really put it in an envelope to mail and addressed it........what is his wife doing opening it and cashing it? Does not make sense does it? I smell something fisxx....

I would love to see Geoff's response to this and I bet he comes across with his same old cocky attitude and not take responsibility and blame it on the OP....watch and see...do you wanted to be treated the way the OP was???????

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, this is just a general observation....

The phone works wonders sometimes in helping out with icky misunderstood online conversations.

Sometimes all it takes is a 5 minute conversation on the phone to clear things up.

Hope it all works out in the wash.

I tried calling twice before the last e-mail I got from him. Never got an answer and I haven't tried after the e-mail of Feb. 23rd. I figured he just doesn't answer his phone.

I wish it would have worked out without the need for this.

I did reply. Over and Over. Asking how I am supposed to order. There was no actual credit in my account and you have to go through the payment method part before actually submitting the order. I thought I would just tell him through an e-mail but that was the last I heard from him.

To the OP I dont blame you I would want my money back and not want prod at this point.

There does seem to be a prob between the OP and Geoff. I dont believe Geoff is a rip off or a shady buisness man based on one allegation that we dont know but one side of the story and believe a man is innocent until proven guilty.

Have you tried sending him an email recently? He just changed hosting companies because of problems with the hosting company, which also messed up his email. I've had problems getting responses too, but I'm didn't know why until recently. He could not send out emails for a while. And there was the amount of time he was in the hospital, and the huge amount of orders that got backed up during the switch to a new website...

This just sounds odd to me. I'm not saying that you are exaggerating or not telling the whole story. I've never had any problems with Tasty Vapor though, and I just placed a $110 order. If he was really out to screw people over, I don't see why he would mess up a $35 order when some people order a lot more.

Try posting in his forum, or email him again. He said recently that his email is working now, so your problem should be resolved.

I read that and thought "well, maybe that has something to do with it" even though as I have stated, this has been going on since mid Feb. Anyway, once again, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried one more e-mail, one more attempt at the on-line chat and a PM.

I've been ordering from Geoff since Sept 09 and like his products and he has always treated me more than fair, in fact if I recieved something I didnt like he replaced it with no problem at all. I understand he just moved and things have been a bit hectic for him, never the less if both side spoke on the phone without all this kind of retoric going on this would be resolved im sure in no time..!!!

Ahh gotcha. Sorry to hear you're having problems. I hope it all works out for you in the long run.

I have to agree with Beecee. I just placed my 1rst order with them the day the site opened back up. I was having some problems,noticed the phone # & his wife was very nice & helpful.
That was the 26th,today is the 29th & I'm vaping away on my 1rst order.

I'm sure you have a legit gripe & I hope you get it worked out. I think we consumers have a naive view of what our online suppliers have had to deal with on a day to day basis. Dealing with their suppliers, web hosts,card processors,the government,the post office,etc & then dealing with customers that are having a nicotine fit:shock:
As a whole,I believe most of the suppliers here that feed our addictions have the best intentions,but sometimes stuff goes wrong.
I bet you're fed up & can't say that I blame ya. But why don't you give Geoff 1 more chance to iron this out & give him a call. It's a toll free number;)

I would call him. there is a 888 number on the site.
Would seem to me you would get what you want by talking to them.
my 2 cents.

I don't know doots. There is a part of me that says "well maybe I should give it one more try". And then there is a part of me that says I am sick and tired of trying to chase him down when HE is the one who should be contacting me.

As I have said, he has my favorite juice so I'm not real happy about this either. But I am a little tired of kissing his ...

In the PM I sent him last Thursday, I told him I didn't know what to do anymore to get this addressed. He had from Thursday until Sunday to respond to the PM. No word at all. I suppose he didn't think I would bring the issue to the forum. As far as I am concerned, I had no alternative.

It isn't like this just started last week. Or the week before. Or the week before that. It started in mid Feb.

Actually this isnt Geoffs sub forum and no he could not shut this down. Dont even misunderstand me Im not calling you a liar nor am I saying I think its true. If it was me I would be doing the same thing you are.

However on the flip side I dont think I would make a Judgment against one of my fav vendors based on an allegation that I dont know the facts.

One fact I do know is, Geoff, this doesnt reflect well, I would either dispute this or resolve it.
