Blu stank before BT bought them out. They stank because they failed to evolve. First generation devices are nothing compared to what is available today.
Why do you think BT bought them out? Because the FDA plans to ban any e-cig device that wasn't already in existance prior to 2007. Blu's will make the cut.

This is essentially what happened several years ago when the FDA banned e-cig products which resulted in US Custom seizures. I believe it was njoy who filed a lawsuit blocking the FDA ban, and the court gave the FDA several years to study the issue and come up with a plan to define and regulate e-cigs. What did they do during those years of study? Nothing.

Instead of an outright ban, now they hope to over-regulate them out of existance, except for the variety that Big Tobacco wants to sell.

With NJoy now selling tanks and eliquid, hopefully they will do the same thing again.

What happens when the government over regulates anything people like? Here in Colorado the legalization of .... Is regulated and taxed so much that the black market is booming. People get rich, whether it's BT or any other business. Bootleggers got rich, the major crime families got rich, the drug cartels are getting rich. It only sends things underground and makes us criminals.

In this case, (as well as others) I disagree. If the leadership of the Senate changes hands in November, the Deeming Regulations are in definite trouble. The leading minority Senators on the HELP committee are all against the Deeming Regulations as written. And if it wasn't for the current administration, these Deeming Regulations would not even exist.

One could use the same arguments for banning any food that doesnt come packaged and sealed.

People had the nerver to buy and consume edible commodities right off the farm, been changing it some since generations ( it's called cooking, btw ) and mostly lived to tell about it.

Doesn't come as a surprise, though. Cigalikes simply dont have enough battery power. Except for the overpriced and underperforming crap they want us to buy.

China sells also lathes at rock bottom rates.

And Mr. Reynolds ? Ever heard of the Streisand-effect ?
They're working on your food theory if anyone hadn't noticed. [emoji85] [emoji86] [emoji87]

If it gets to where it's only pre-filled carts of two or three flavors, I'm done with it. The "hobby" aspect keeps me into vaping more than the nicotine or the actual act of vaping. Messing with endless orders of V2 808 carts are why I quit vaping for a year. I didn't get back into it until I started playing with rebuildables (and I didn't smoke in the interim). Never wanted to strangle someone for want of a vape, and never missed a meal or shorted myself on a full tank of gas to buy juice.

Well, there we have it. The future as BT see it.

Get all products but their own banned and then hike the prices to as high as possible so it no longer matters to them whether they sell tobacco cigarettes or e-cigarettes.

There IS a HUGE spanner in the works though... Oh Yes!

There are plenty of non-tobaccco (e-cig) companies in existence who can easily sell a sealed (non-open) system and take them on price-wise and quality-wise.
So, unless they totally win the war on advertising, they won't get to their goal.

And don't forget, a lot of us are DIYers. I'm forcing myself to learn how to do that, just BECAUSE I knew some crap like this would come along eventually. And my most recent efforts have been fairly successful, finally have a self-made "Virginia" flavor that actually tastes good.

THANK YOU. I can think of dozens of issues of the top of my head that voting has made an impact on...sheesh.

No more family planning, no marriage equality, no equal pay for women, no religious freedom unless you believe in Jesus, no good stewardship of our one and only planet, no taxes to keep society going--but I can keep my rebuildables if I vote Republican?

WHERE DO I SIGN UP????

Depending on where you are in the US, this is already the case irregardless. I've lived in both blue and red states in the last ten years. And no I don't have any answers except moving to Sweden.
